Review of Village Green 2019: Festival of Arts & Music
This event has lost site of the close knit family event that it started off as. It either needs to break away from this and sign up bigger acts or downscale nearer to its original format. I did not feel there were enough toilets or bars and that this event caters for too wide an audience to please all. Did not enjoy as much as previous years.

Over pricing tickets, food and drinks makes it a very expensive day out. No consideration for parking. The overall cost seriously detracts from the festival. £8 a wrap and £4 for chips. Local traders could have benefitted but as nothing was allowed to be taken in they local community misses out.

Review of Village Green 2019: Festival of Arts & Music
Toilet queues were really long and the crowd was kind of dead. A lot of money for what used to be a decent affordable local festival. The park was a good venue as always but It’s a lot of money for what it is

Review of Village Green 2019: Festival of Arts & Music
The atmosphere of the event was great, this was due to everyone being friendly and nice. the only down side to the event was that the speakers used for the main stage needed to be lifted up above the crowd so the sound could travel to everyone in the crowd. As the speakers were level with the crowd you could only hear the sinning if you were close to the stage, if you was futher away from the stage all you could here was the bass and no singing.

Review of Village Green 2019: Festival of Arts & Music
I thought this was a fab day for me and my kids and can't wait to go back next year! Love that there was stuff for everyone and most was free!
My only negatives were:
-Toilet ques were nearing an hour after 6pm which for someone with young kids was not great! Was actually quicker for me to walk 20mins home and use my loo and come back!
-sound quality from the main stage was poor, could barely make out what song busted were actually Playing and we were pretty close to the stage
-open drug use, mainly w**d being smoked but other drugs were being openly used too which was a massive downer!
Other than that, we loved it!!

Great family friendly venue with a good mix of music and events but not enough loos!!! There was plenty of space to add some more I’d happily pay more money for decent portaloos!

Review of Village Green 2019: Festival of Arts & Music
Very enjoyable, few more well known bands that everyone knows would of been great, especially for the kids. Price for adults was a bit steep but I guess that’s why kids don’t have to pay. All in all I would recommend this.

Review of Village Green 2019: Festival of Arts & Music
I took my 8 year old twins to this event, they had a great time, the music was good and had a nice mix of cultures. The food choices were good too.
My only caveat would be the amount of very drunk adults milling around. I don't drink personally, so having to explain alcohol and drunk people to my twins was something. That aside, we all had a great day out.
