The staff were great at the venue pleasant and helpful. The only downside to the evening were the drinks prices at the venue as £4 for a soft drink I find quite expensive.

The experience of the previous Gatecrasher at Sheffield City Hall was spoilt by moving to a new venue. The atmosphere wasn’t the same and the orchestra seemed to be lost.
I loved the previous gig but wouldn’t go to this venue again

The venue is great but the queues for food and drink and ridiculous .... it’s not a cheap bar either - London prices!! A fab night though... definitely

Please take it back to City Hall! Arena was like going to a rave in a barn! No real atmosphere, sound quality not a patch on City Hall, need the laser show back, a few roaming disco lights did nothing for the atmosphere. People were actually leaving st 10pm coz had enough. The ‘guests’ on stage should have stayed at home. Maxi Jazx was appalling . Seats we bought had been curtained off and we were moved elsewhere. To say it was a 25 year celebration it was poor... not as good choice of music for orchestra to play as previously done. Had seen on a social media page people saying Arena would be too big a soul less place for Cradher and I’m sorry to say they were correct....seems like the lure of more bums on seats over quality of night won. Am afraid if it doesn’t go back to City Hall we won’t be going again....real shame....you’ve disappointed a lot of die hards !!!

I enjoyed the event, could have been tweaked to be a lot better. The dj set should have been the latter part. No lasers or real light show as advertised but still a good night and the venue was easy to access and prompt to enter.

poor sound quality, poor lighting. The guy who sang Born Slippy using a card with lyrics, completely wrecked the song. Another singers microphone not working.

Very poor and amateurish show, one mistake after another and very expensive.

Disappointing.

The Gatecrasher brand has never disappointed me and the Classical event at Sheffield Arena was no exception. It was awesome!
Paul Oakenfold opened with an eargasmic set. The sound and light was spot on throughout, and he finished with Perfecto’s ‘Bullet In The Gun.’
The Gatecrasher choir and orchestra opened with Orbital’s ‘Belfast’ and the spectacle that is Gatecrasher took it’s twists and turns through time and sounds; it was an incredible experience. All of the artists were brilliant and the event came to a close after ‘Gamemaster.’
I have to take my hat off to everyone involved. The time, work and money that must have gone into this event really paid off. I loved every second and once again ‘it will always be with me...’

Really enjoyed the evening - loved hearing the classic anthems and Paul Okenfold did a wicked job to warm up the crowd.
Orchestra were wicked, though music levels were off - they were drowned out by the PA system, singers too.
Also there were no sodding lasers!!!!
Had a proper good time though, and would definitely go again, but Gatecrasher need to sort their sound and lighting issues as it could and should have been that little bit better.

Awful night - sound was terrible and the set list was dismal , no energy or consistency . Singers not knowing the song and too big a venue . No lasers and seemed a cheap setup especially for the extortionate ticket price. I will not be attending another GC night

This was a falsely advertised event
No lasers no athmosphere sound system shocking
Choir who you couldn’t here ? Where were the men for some base.

Fantastic night-the things which did let it down slightly, 2 bars with ridiculous queues. There wasn’t any many lasers as you would expect

Absolutely amazing. Music was on point. Sound was fantastic. The venue itself was excellent. Didnt have to que long for drinks and toilets which is always a bonus.

Sound system was not to scratch / no laser show which was meat to be amazing compare to the show complete pore over priced meant to be the 25th birthday 25th for a show

What happened to the lasers? No lasers the whole night...! And the change of venue for the second half...... poor effort guys. Still no lasers :)
