Review of GEEKS Salisbury Comic-Con 2017
For Salisburys first comic con there was a good atmosphere, friendly organisers, a good variety of stars to sign autographs and take photos with. There was a fairly good variety of stalls but not much vintage collectables. Of course appreciate stall openers hesitations as it's the first event here hopefully if many many more. Prices on some stalls were very over priced but some were reasonable. Entry price was good and hope does not increase for next time. There were plenty of activities to involve both adults and children and the event was well laid out. Hope tincome to many more comic cons in Salisbury and I would like to get involved myself maybe next time.

Review of GEEKS Salisbury Comic-Con 2017 -lovely guests
you had some great guests there, i arrived in the afternoon and was surprised how quiet it was. I don't think it had been well publicised other than social media, and i felt that meant your guests didn't get the visits they deserved. There didn't seem to be any food and drink options on site, maybe i missed where those were? it could have been signposted a bit better, e.g. the main hall, i knew where to go because i had been before, but all it had (that i could see) was an open door with seat numbers on. just a temporary a4/a3 bit of paper saying guests this way or similar would be g

Review of GEEKS Salisbury Comic-Con 2017
Absolutely brilliant! It was our first comic con and a treat for my sons 13th birthday. He has autism and I was worried that it would be overwhelming for him but it was perfect! He had a blast (as did i) and kept thanking me for taking him. He especially loved the transformers. I thought that all the coplayers were awesome. We will definitely be dressing up next year!

zu too gig
it was really good, the rock power trio was formed by cream, the zoo too gig seemed minimalistic, just bass drums lead guitar/rythm, vocals and a little bit of piano. It seems rare that a band would play through a whole album, but zoo too played the whole of the Joshua tree, . Pink floydf did a whole of the dark side of the moon in their "pulse" concert, which is the only other occurrance orf this that I know, I think John Peel or richard branston played the whole of mike oldfields tubular bells, when they first oppenned their radio station,. u2 get the credit for writing the songs, zoo too get the credit for doing the covers, I don't know how they wrote the songs, whether the bass player wrote the bass line, the lead vocalist wrote the lyrics?
I thought the bass player danced well, i don't know how one synchronises the delay peddle with the rest of the band? Is there a computer which mixes the delay effect in time?, the whole band were dressed up very u2 like ish, must have taken a lot of practice to memorize all those songs all the way through., was it done with song books? down loads of the internet? just by ear?
my friend, who i was in a band with, got me a present of an lp,vinyl, of the joshua tree, then it went missing, i couldn't find it any where, what happenned to it?
