fantastic day at comic con - would have liked to have seen a few more characters/ actors - but we do realise that this would put the price up, there were lots of stalls to buy stuff (at reasonable prices too) but we would have liked to have seen more characters/actors

There is a sad trend in advertising 'film and TV' conventions as Comic Cons...if you have zero Comic related guests (writers and artists) and no decent comic stalls I don't really understand how you can call it a comic convention (and no, I'm sorry, Pop Vinyl stores and Cosplayers do not a Comic Con make). Last year's event was a good start and we hoped that it would be built on a little year by year but, if anything, this year's event felt like a step backwards...a pity.

I think I was expecting more for the entrance money, it was paying almost 3 times for something, that I wasn't sure about buying in the first place!!! And not even a whole days event you were stretched to entertain yourself for a few hours. make it bigger and better.

Review of GEEKS Salisbury Comic-Con 2018
Much better than last year with the famous people’s selfies going to a variety of good causes. A few more stalls as well. Good idea to have the video games and photo booth and the interactive stage element always helps create a good atmosphere. Always love seeing the darleks and live in hope of winning one. I would like to see it grow to maybe having an actor panel session and some more modern comic shops there?

I went having seen the statement about the quantity of top dealers. Unfortunately of all the dealers there only 1 had any comics on sale (which is why I attend these shows). That dealer also only had 4 very small boxes so for me there was nothing there. I completely understand this was not promoted as a comic show but travelling from Bournemouth to Salisbury for a 5 minute walk around the event was not worth while. Im sure collectors of Funko would have been happy as the majority of stalls were made up of this product. Thankfully the show was cheap to attend (£10 for me and my son).

Review of GEEKS Salisbury Comic-Con 2018
This event just gets better each year. The admission cost is so cheap and we got to meet some pretty famous people. It's very kid friendly. My 14 year old son loves it. The stalls are really impressive and we love the cosplay competitions.
