Considering the weather, (very hot and sunny) i feel that umbrellas should have been put out to help shade from the sun. The live band was mistimed, should have been later in the night. The songs the DJ played were awful and he finished at 10:30pm totally unannounced. The wide selection of drinks available were amazing! The bar staff were attentive, helpful and knowledgeable! Fun event which was well organised, bringing in large crouds. Hopefully will be able to do it again next year!

wonderful event, my first time attending a drink festival. However the food was an absolute ripoff. small amount and high priced. would have been much better with the pub food or even a bar beque. next time I will eat before hand or pub food.

The toilet situation was hard work. Some extremely rude old people who seemed to thing they owned the place and could make very rude loud comments about the young people at the event. Perhaps these old people need to remember that if the younger generations don’t drink in local pubs they won’t have a local pub to go to! The range of gins was fabulous and the staff amazing. Great music too.

We had a great day on Saturday. The weather couldn't be helped and whilst the day would have been better if we had had sunshine all day we all enjoyed ourselves regardless.

I do however have a few recommendations for next year

1) The start time wasn't clear. There wasn't a time on our printed tickets . On the tickets on your phone there WAS a start time 2pm. On the website it says 2pm but further down the page it says 12pm. We arrived just before 2.30pm and we only just got a table. This is a basic and someone should have spotted and corrected this.

2) Toilets - they were excellent quality however, more were needed.

3) Due to the weather we spent more time in the pub and therefore this must have affected sales of gin. Perhaps a larger tent with seating would be a better option?

4) before 4pm, Peaky blinder gin sold out!!!? Followed by quite a few others. Why were stocks so low?

Overall we were very impressed and would be happy to return next year. It was such a shame about the rain and hailstones! Yes hailstones, but it is England after all. The food on offer was excellent quality. The staff were superb and very friendly. The young lads collecting glasses and tidying up outside were good too. The tent was really smart and decorated very tastefully and was impressive but wasn't big enough when the rains came!

enjoyed the event just a shame on the weather on the day and queuing so long but it's to be expected at a busy and successful event overall enjoyed it

Atrocious band on the Saturday night
Too loud total rubbish
The bar staff couldn’t even hear customers ordering drinks
Some of the bar staff were excellent but most were very poor and had no idea on the gins / service etc
How can you have a really good Gin Festival when approx 30% of gins were finished by 10pm

I was disappointed that the price of my admission didn’t include my glass (this is usual at beer festivals)
The prices seemed rather steep for the unit costs and the queues were rather off putting.
