Review of A Real Wage For Preston
This was an interesting evening and really demonstrated the way a real wage can help to tackle poverty and suport equality. Great to raise awareness of the benefits to everyone.

Review of Beer for Breakfast at Harris Live (sold out)
I had booked this as a surprise for my partner and from the description was expecting a true Irish line up instead the main vocalist was from Wigan. The flautist was very good and the other musicians although one hid behind a pillar all evening. The lead singer didn't introduce his band members and a lot of the music used the same background beat. The venue is nice but we felt the band needed to be in the middle of the audience they felt rather hidden. They could have given out song sheets for the audience to join in or perhaps a song list to make requests from? The vocalist was difficult to understand at times both in what he sang and said. Cafe staff were nice. I went to a different show last year- a choir singing musicals and it was fab. I'll look again at next years shows.

Review of The Well-Dressed Gentlemen at Harris Live (SOLD OUT)
Great bunch of musicians doing renditions of varying jazz and blues from the 20s & 30s and elsewhere. This was the first time my wife and I had been to the Harris as a music venue, and the central atrium was a beautiful setting that offered excellent acoustics. With a small selection of wines, beers, tea and coffee available, it was a very splendid way to spend an evening. My wife and I are very much looking forward to the next one.

Lovely music in a wonderful setting, hope they return on a regular basis. So nice to have a entertainment of such high calibre without having to travel to Manchester or Liverpool
