Review of Garstang Show
The Mill catering not reflecting the British Dairy, Meat or Vegetable farmer.
Suggest:- Public information - notice boards/story boards in cattle tents with photographs of show cattle "at home" in the fields with rest of herd. Tell public what happens to a Maize Maize when it is no longer open to the public, explain & show photographs of harvesting for winter feed etc.
Where are the farmers who grow potatoes, cabbages, carrots, leeks, onions. HMP Kirkham was a good stand, but let's see more farmers with their produce.
Good atmosphere and ground was extremely good after all the previous heavy rain.
Less dogs on leads in marquees, they get tangled around your legs especially when they are only interested in other dogs and not the contents of the marquee!!!

Review of Garstang Show
There needs to be more happening in the tents, in that you are promoting local business and what they do in the community e.g. Dewla Cheese, Local farm producers, marketing ;their own meats, Local icecream makers, and Honey bee production which you have in the area . There was not enough loudspeaker calls informing; you what was happening. The judging, is announced by someone's feeble voice across an open field, you cannot get a gist of what they are doing with the Animal e.g. Dog, Goat, Rabbit , You have spent a lot of time for childrens events and motorbike event,, A great family day out, the weather was brilliant, but bit more structure and insight, £14 bit too much to pay...

Review of Garstang Show
The show was an improvement on previous years. There were fewer fairground type activities (which charged ridiculous amounts of money for not very good experiences) and this year a circus was included in the ticket price. The range of activities was varied and well timetabled and the variety of food on sale was excellent.
Review of Garstang Show
Excellent well organised friendly show. Fantastic array of cattle breeds extremely well presented. Many local producers and some fun stuff to watch including an amazing motorbike acrobatic display.
