Cannot say how much it means to me and the other people attending that El has created this community. She is an amazing person and has done som**hing magical in starting Grrls to the front. The 'xtra' evening is more intimate than the events at the Wedgewood rooms. The vibe is one of collaboration and camaraderie. We are able to delve more into the harmonies of songs, there is no right or wrong, just the attempt is beautiful. It's a no pressure environment to experiment with your voice to see what it can do, you may be pleasantly surprised with the outcome. Thank you El for all that you do x

El is simply amazing, has a safe space where you can just be yourself with no judgement, she literally has saved my life.

Long distance Dan and DJ Format were excellent as usual, only thing stopping it from being all 5 stars is venue is very small and think both DJs could easily fill a larger venue in Portsmouth. Hats off to Southsea sound for hosting, we should all support our local venues. Please do a New Year event!

Southsea Sound have so many great things about them but these karaoke events really are absolutely brilliant. Totally wasn't feeling Christmas at all until celebrating here. I think it's going to become a concrete festive tradition!

Review of The Selenite Tour with Carol Hodge & Julia Othmer

Great gig. Support band Halliwell warmed us up and Julia and Carol added their own heat and talents.  If you get a chance, go and see them.

Brilliant night out. Southsea  sound is a lovely intimate venue, the staff and audience were very friendly and welcoming. Carol Hodge & Julia Othmer are exceptional performers and artists,  likewise the opening band Halliwell were the perfect start to the evening.
