Review of Get Down Presents GotSome
Absolutely brilliant as always from the Getdown crew. Great music, positive atmosphere, well decorated venue, incredible lights and excellent extra details (such as inflatable monkeys) which all added to the experience.

Review of Waves Part 2: Boat & After Party Ft. Rodney P / Killa P & more
I bought two tickets from online two days before the event itself. Ticket details at that point were Earlybird Boat & Club and Club ticket. I ordered both which was fine - simple system, emailed the tickets and options to receive via text message - with a smart phone both accessible and both ideal. The day before and the day of the event I went back online to purchase tickets there were 4x different prices available which included the Earlybird price. I understood that an Earlybird ticket meant that by purchasing your ticket early you would get a better deal with ticket prices in comparison to those purchased on the day or on the door. I think that the price selection needs to be clear from the get go and that those that do purchase early do feel that as a token for being loyal that there is a clear benefit. This was really my only issue. I felt bad for the artists who I know over the past 6x months have performed to crowds of over 20,000+ and to then come home to low numbers within the venue I feel for them. I think that the weather was a massive contributing factor. To get from the boat party to The Hub isn't easy so perhaps speak with a taxi company for future reference to put on some discounted taxi's from the Barbican to the venue. Perhaps have people flyering on Union St opposite Two Trees to be able to direct people up to the venue. All a learning curve guys. Good luck with the event tonight which has fallen on Freshers Week is right smack bang in the middle of town and close to several campuses so should be packed out. Wish I was there....
