Review of Plymouth Street Food Festival
Firstly HUGE CONGRATS to the DJ on Mon -day, he was absolutely brilliant, the best play list!
Food was top notch - we ate Morrocan - great taste, portion & value & very nice staff.
Security Staff super helpful.
Negatives - Over flowing Litter Bins everywhere, with a lot of rubbish spilling over into the Park.
We opted not to book a Table, as cost conserving & we took a large picnic blanket, which we hoped would be ideal . However, due to the extremely uneven & uncomfortable hard concrete surface, it was sooooooooooo uncomfortable. Fore-warned is fore-armed & allows you to choose fittingly & prepare. If we'd known we would have simply taken Garden Chairs & stayed longer & spent more, it was even difficult to dance on the uneven concrete area, which had to be seen to be comprehended - a configuration of small hexagonal sections with holes in the middle, spread right across the area. The Event, just needed something else, I'm afraid, there was no 'Live Music' & we were unable to Dance or sit for any duration, so sadly I would not recommend it, sorry:(

Disappointing as queuing at various food stalls for over 30-45 mins to only be told once at front of queue they were sold out. Maybe a few street entertainers for children would keep families entertained.

Although it was a free event, there were no signs to say that you have to sign up for Skiddle otherwise you're not permitted to enter. It was quite embarrassing holding up the entire queue as the process to do this took longer than it should have.
For a Sunday - where it attracted families and young children, the music was way too loud and the ground wasn't wheelchair or pram friendly, the wheels would get stuck between the concrete layout. You also need to expand the area a little bit because there is no room to queue or sit.
Prices were a little shocking, everything seemed to be £10 and over.

Review of Plymouth Street Food Festival
The parking for this event was absolutely atrocious, no organisation, it was absolutely chaos.
Instead being a food event, with stalls, things to buy, taste it was just a glorified food court.
Absolutely terrible that you had to pay to reserve seats etc, not family friendly, food very expensive.
I won't bother next time

Long ques for everything you'd be better having an entrance fee and just letting people have a bottomless lunch where they get to have a bit of everything
Ques for bars took an hour and a half. But the worst part was ques to get in the you get to the front entrance and because filling out an app is more important then leisure another 45 minutes just go register and be able to enter. Was not impressed and prices were very high. Music was dull and there was not enough festive atmosphere excitement or activity it was just alot of ques

There was not enough parking we couldn't get in and had to go away come back later which wasn't very convenient. Lots of parking tickets being given which would ruin day I'd imagine for people and sad.

Very enjoyable experience .Food was a bit pricey and a huge Que for any alcohol , but in a way was good as stopped people over drinking . Maybe a few more soft drink and coffee facilities would have been good . Felt safe and nice family atmosphere.
