My first time to Butefest and had a blast!
(Real shame about the weather and Saturday evacuation though..)
Good mix of bands and stalls.
Ettrick Bay was a beautiful setting and i'd highly recommend the same next year if feasible. Massive thanks to Gayle (Butefest) for going the extra mile to make our first time at Butefest very memorable.

Fantastic event, well organised something for everyone ,family friendly. Great value for money, to see 1 band in Glasgow is upwards of £40 and we saw too many to count for £80 early bird tickets. We have already bought our tickets for 2019! Big thanks to organisers and volunteers 👏👏😘

Another amazing Butefest....loved the new location.
We had a great time and nothing the wind or rain could throw at is changed that.
staff were amazing and friendly..couldn't ask for more...thanks guys and see you next year.

Absolutely fantastic weekend had. Can't beat our Beautiful island and what a spot to hold the event. Great music with spectacular views. Roll on 2019 Butefest.

Was so disappointed this year, after last years 5/5 for everything. I know there was bad weather re wind but we were wadding in mud at last years and it never stopped us from enjoying ourselves as the festival was amazing , not downing the artists as from what I saw they were excellent, but everything else was very mediocre. The site it’s self was almost empty and consisted of an over kill of food outlets a lot of which were selling the same food and all in a row together. We paid £9.00 for a burger and chips, the chips were £4.00. I got a pizza supposed to be ham and pineapple which had red onions on it and about 3 pieces of pineapple and wad totally burned on underside. The traders were good but hardly any, and apart from priya were very expensive, however I understand that and loved their stuff as it was hand made. The merchandise tent was a shambles with three we boys who had no clue ( not their fault they were young and out of their depth. They just didn’t have enough people staffing it. We paid £223.65 to attend not counting the ferry £33 for the three days and it was not worth anything like it. Such a shame because it has put me off , ever returning, there are too many festivals in Scotland, so the demand for festival goers is huge, I attended Eden and it was on a par with last years Butefest but many others were even better.
Rewind in Perth, where the vendors have to pay a astronomical fee to be able to trade in the festival ground, not one was so expensive as those at Bute fest. My compliments to the crepe van with two very pleasant young men who made what I requested and was delicious and fairly reasonable. Also there was a lot of youngsters there to get drunk and party, not very family friendly with drunk swearing teenagers around venue and campsite. The volunteers in the main were uninterested and some were drunk. Just a horrible experience and a dreadful disappointment.

Great wee festival. A bit more organisation in the campervan field would not go wrong. Position people as they enter the field so they dont have to move again after getting set up. The ones leaving on Sunday have to be positioned with access to the exit gate.

Site was ok. Site safety found lacking .tiolet arrangement a bit strange .info on shuttle hard to find .when fest abandoned sat nite ONE BUS?people scrambled to get on (folk already on)
