Absolutely brilliant night, starting with Darren Connell stand up...great rapport with the room.
A mixed feeling here, there were a few quite drunk guys who interrupted and heckled a lot...this carried on to Rab Florence, whose show I caught last month at the Rum Shack.
Totally different vibe due to the heckling drunks, but Rab turned it into half poetry and half stand up, which was unbelievably funny. A different artist might not have coped as well. Great praise to both Darren and Rab for this unforgettable evening.
