Review of North East Chilli Festival Sat 4th & Sunday 5th July
Had a great afternoon on Saturday. Loads of stalls and places to eat. Nice that there are some different ones each year. Only downside were the queues for drinks and food, but that's probably due to the lovely weather we eventually had. Live bands are great but a lot of people like hearing songs they know, which is a shame as good original music is hard to come by! I think this was the busiest chilli festival I've been to here, my fourth time! Can't wait till next year!! 😀

This is a fantastic day out for everyone of all ages. The only down side was for the adults in the beer tent, the queues were so long that you had to buy two drinks at a time, so at £4.00 per 'pint' it turned out to be an expensive time. So, could be a thought to put two beer tents for the grown ups??? Apart from the prices and the wait, it was still a great day out. I will be going again next year!!!!!!!

2nd year we've been & it seemed to be bigger and better. More sellers and variety. They may have to change venue as it grows. Great day out for all the family.

The stall holders were very friendly, although did find the prices on some stalls expensive for what you were getting. Felt like a market, of which you had to pay to look around.

Think it's a bit poor you have to pay for the park and ride car park when you have already paid for tickets just for entry and the car park grass had not even been cut making it almost impossible to push a pushchair
