Review of Middlesbrough Reggae Festival 2019
As a disabled person I bought VIP tickets to ensure a seat for myself and my cousin. on entering the venue itself was fine, but the set up of the VIP area was rubbish, a barrier with "feet" was dangerous, lots of people including myself tripped on them. once the place filled up and people were dancing in front of the stage, it made it impossible for us to see any of the bands, the alternative was to watch TV,s. As I say I am disabled, I cannot stand for long periods, I decided not to take my wheelchair because of the VIP seating. But as we couldn't see anything it was pointless paying £27 each to watch the TV.
As for the Bar area, there was plenty of staff but the prices were very confusing. 1 double tia maria & c**e and 1 double vodka was £7 , we assumed it was a mistake but the next round same drinks £15 , £ 15 absolutely ridiculous, tp top it off the next round, 1 single vodka and c**e & blackcurrant & lemonade £7. Total confusion. Rip off ,waste of money, very disappointing.

We took kids from age 2 to age 9 they all were buzzing. Fully recommend. Perfect venue if you have a birthday party to arrange.
