Fire In The Empire at Jabez Cleg
Two awesome (literally) home grown original rock bands shook the venue to it's foundations delivering classy hard rock and pounding metal, neither of these bands will disappoint. The venue is one of the better one's that Manchester has to offer with a propper full-on sound system and knowledgable crew, I feel the price of entry to the gig and pricey drinks were the only down side at this venue.

AEROPLANE!
Top night. The whole place was on fire (figuratively) when Vito took to the stage. I'd highly recommend the Jabez Clegg, and everyone should go the Clique and watch Aeroplane AT LEASED once in their life.
Not to mention skiddle tickets were incredibly easy to use kudos, thanks a lot. See you next time!

venetian snare
Venetian Snares is a rare thing - both to be able to see live, and to actually listen to (live or on record) so this was an amazing booking. The venue was brilliant, the lighting rigs and equiipment set-up was great and the main room was excellent, my only complaint was the insane amount of time we were all left queing outside!!
Drinks were priced ok, and the bar service was alright & not too slow
All the DJ sets were really good, although one of them ruined the vibe a little bit by being abit too obscure - not quite sure who it was because some of the set times overlapped. Snares didn't disappoint & played some really great tunes - with someone who has so much music out there, it could very easily have been a set of tunes you only half knewbut he knew the crowd well & toyed around with them - playing gabba that verged on white noise for the last 20 mins, just because he could!!
A great night!!

snares!
queued for hours, no exaggeration! wasn't the crowd i was expecting t see on this sort of night...but still was a pretty friendly mixed bunch of people. the acts before snares were a little softer than i expected. snares was amazing, not as involved as he was last time, but still amazing. venue was a good lay out and a good feel. drinks were a little steep.

it was alreet
great event shame actress didnt show and that you couldnt really hear zombys set also not sure why there were shirtless scallie lads fighting in the place ? overall I had a good night there and would go again the space is big so when its crowded it doesnt feel too full and there is room to dance.

Venitian Snares
Hours of boring music with no soul, more like background music to talk over. They should of had sofa's to sit on as I don't think anyone was dancing. Sound levels were really quiet (although very clear). Not the rave I expected, would have been more entertaining to just stay at home and listen to one of his CD's!

Venetian Snares
Ridiculously long slow queue to get in and then hours of rubbish music to listen too! Dubstep bores me to tears! Venetian Snares started of great then lost it, bit of a disappointment seeing him play on cd decks?!I've also never seen a mosh pit listening to breakcore jungle! Great atmosphere though nevertheless:)

breakcore gives me wood
stoked that snares came up to manc for once, music in the main leading up to the headliner was alright, i preferred the heavy dubsteppy vibes in the side room. v snares tore the lid off with some filthy fast breaks that slowly imploded into a 15 minute wall of noise, top stuff

Venetian Snares
Music started off a bit lacklustre and all over the place but quickly picked up, and ultimately I was there to see Snares who didn't disappoint in the slightest!
Major complaint re: venue was the ridiculous queue to get in while they checked everyone's name against a list. Tip for next time guys: e-Tickets! Everyone would have been in in a quarter of the time!
