Jabez is a pub and club space found in the heart of student-land. Once the preserve of completely cheesy music events it has undergone a complete reinvention as its now the home to some of Manchester's most credible student nights. Playing the hippest music in the heart of the student halls, its always busy and a guaranteed great night out.


****THE VENUE****
Tucked away off Oxford Road on Portsmouth Street (opposite University of Manchester Students’ Union), Jabez Clegg has been a staple of the student circuit for a long time. The downstairs section of the building serves as a pub, while the upstairs has two rooms that are generally used for club nights.

****THE LAST WORD****
With much of the clientèle being drawn from Manchester's sizeable student population, Jabez really comes to life between September and June. That said, anybody who spends any length of time in Manchester is guaranteed to spend at least one night here.
