The Cellars Alehouse venue information

Maidstone's only Micropub situated close to the Town Centre in the cellars of the old Style and Winch brewery. The site is now known as The Old Brewery and is located between Rocky Hill and Buckland Road behind the Broadway Shopping Centre.

We specialise in Real Ale but also cater to Cider drinkers, whisky connoisseurs and gin enthusiasts. We also have wine, prosecco and soft drinks.

Opening hours: Mon - Closed. Tue & Wed 4.30-9. Thu 4.30-11. Fri & Sat 12-11. Sun 12-6.

Food served: All the traditional pub snacks (crisps, nuts and pork scratchings) as well as sandwiches and posh pickled eggs.

Parking: Due to other businesses on site, parking is limited until at least 5pm. Some spaces are allocated and are not to be parked in. Also cars are not to be left overnight.

Music Policy: We have no background music and do not allow music to be played on phones etc as the Micropub mantra is to shun both of these.

Ambiance: Like mentioned before, we don't have background music or fruit machines and jukeboxes as we encourage our customers to engage with each other without the use of technology.

Clientele: Our clientele really is a mix of young and old, male and female and nationalities and ethnicities. No one ever feels intimidated coming to The Cellars.

Drinks served: As mentioned above.

Disabled facilities: Unfortunately we are unable to provide wheelchair access to The Cellars as the stairs leading down are too narrow to install a lift.
