The security were extremely rude and unhelpful took ages to get people in, it was not stated that the event was outside which is absolutely ridiculous as I was freezing, the music was actually horrific. I waisted £33 on an event which didn’t even state it was outside, I’m pretty sure if you did actually state that half the people who went wouldn’t have even turned up because who actually holds an event outside at the end of December? False advertisement and you should not be allowed to hold an event again unless you ACCURATELY STATE what the event will be like.

The basis of my poor review has nothing to do with Trevor Nelson's music or the attendees. It is because the tickets and pre event advertising failed to mention that it was primarily an outdoor event. My group came dressed in party attire for an indoor venue..... Trevor was DJing outside. Whilst there where outdoor heating lamps, it still did not protect from the cold. Keep in mind this was a cold New Years Eve party.
As a result we left earlier than planned. Had the tickets and advertising said this was outdoors, we would have dressed appropriately.
Frustrating night that did not live up to expectations

Cool venue, great DJs, friendly crowd, had a great night, the only moan is we spent over an hour in the queue, missing midnight on NYE.

I bought tickets for me and my partner and was looking forward to this as we don’t really do New Years big parties. Bought ticket online three weeks prior only to arrive at 10.45 to spend 1.30hrs waiting outside to get in. Security appeared not to be really bothered that people were getting angry. They only spend up with 5 mins to go and at least 1/3 of people who attended spent midnight in queue for no good reason. We then get in at 12.10 not happy and find outdoor cold venue generally poor music.
To be honest I would never do this if you paid me and my respect for Me Nelson is down the drain to allow his guests and people to be treated like this. I for one would like some of my money back and furious with the whole thing. Worst party of 2010’ . Trevor your people let you down big time and please don’t let your name be used like this, get some control or you will surely lose most of those who you made spend news years outside in a queue.

Having never been to to a city new years eve party before I wasn't really sure what to expect. Actually I had won 5 tickets on a Facebook competition and was really excited to bring my friends.
but all I heard from them was who wants to go in the city it's so hard to get home it will be crowded those things are never worth it blah blah blah.
so I just came on my own, come to find out a group of 8 friends came and they only had 4 tickets and I had 4 Extra and so my eight new best friends and I went into the venue where the music was amazing the atmosphere was chill! I love the outdoor aspect and the heaters and and the lights. There was such a diverse group of people and a wonderful wonderful selection of danceable celebratory music.
I will definitely come back next year. I've posted videos on Facebook and told my friends you missed it!

Awful queuing system I stood in the queue for an hour. Got into the venue at minutes to midnight. Venue was wasn’t created for this event. Music was decent and vibe was ok. Will not be trusting Trevor again

Great atmosphere. Crowds were very friendly and polite. Venue is probably fantastic in the warmer months, not great in December.
