Review of Electric Wave Festival
Shuttle bus service was awful! A single catering outlet for hundreds of people selling only gristle filled hotdogs! Drinks choice was pitiful! Huge queues for the few portaloos! Stage area for bands was good...Shame, could have been a really good little festival but it felt so unprepared!!! Why was it so hard for us living only 20mins away to get there?

Review of Electric Wave Festival
I had he most amazing Saturday night of my life. I enjoyed the aliveness of the atmosphere and also enjoyed the many new experiences I was given at this festival. Can’t wait for next year!!! If only I could re-live that Saturday :( I’ve already recommended the festival to everyone i know as I truly feel that I’ve found the holy grail!

With teenagers it was tricky.
Put weather to one sude, still couldn't quite find that happy placement Despite tonnes of Dad enthusiasm, to here was no real medium between kiddy balloon fest & early Eve live tunes.
We're an open minded family happy to experience new experiences, but it wasn't just the weather making it stale.
Hate to leave negative feedback, not my forte!! Promotion didn't match reality. Bit of an anticlimax to be honest. Sorry!!
Regards,
Paul

Over promised, under delivered.
I would not go back to this event, the marketing info promised a festival but the organisers delivered a small local-style music event.
There were 3 ‘stages’ at the event: one yurt style stage which had good atmosphere and music so most people were in there all weekend, however there was only 2 staff on the bar so getting served was a nightmare. The second stage was a small marquis with a DJ- again, only 2 bar staff serving. And the main stage was in the Academy building- it was big but had no atmosphere.
Food provision for the weekend was one burger van, which was expensive but you had no choice.
The marketing also said they were catering for families and kids but there was very little for kids to do: face painting and a soft play area.
We left the festival after one night (as did over 60% of others who were camping) because the event was so poorly organised.
The camping set up had families and ravers mixed in together, which wasn’t ideal for kids- partying went on all night and security didn’t do a thing.
We did like the camping location though, Conwy Valley Backpackers Barn had good value accommodation and the owner Claudia was really helpful, we would go back there but not for EW fest.
The event feels like a corporate company making a bit of money by over charging for what they deliver.

Very poorly organised..... definitely not a family event. We left early as there was a lot of people just getting drunk which I think was there way of helping to cope with such a rubbish event!
