Review of Independent Liverpool Christmas Festival
Although there was some Christmassy music earlier on with a brass band, overall there was nothing else Christmas about this event. About 5 stalls selling gifts and lots of extremely loud generic rock-pop music. Overall pretty naff.
Nice food though.

Review of Independent Liverpool Christmas Festival
Thought the atmosphere and the idea behind the festival was lovely. But the food prices weren't consistent - I got a portion of Swedish meatballs from Hus for £5 and it was so small! Compared to the plates from bakchich for the same price. So I didn't feel I got good value at all, as bar prices weren't cheap either. I'm aware it's a captive audience, and for the £3 Thursday ticket it wasn't too bad, but if I'd payed more for a ticket I would have been disappointed. Music was also far too loud to hold conversations with people - fair does as you get later on and there's More of a club atmosphere though.

Review of LIVERPOOL DISCO FESTIVAL
From the moment of entering the event at around 2.00 pm there was already a buzz in the air! We began dancing solidly until midnight! It was a coming together of like-minded lovely people of all ages, an awesome line-up of DJs; Louie Vega and John Morales being my highlight. It was just a shame that the sound quality for Odyssey's live performance started off badly - but did improve as their set list continued....other than that the event would have been perfect. I didn't venture further than the 2 main rooms, not even to the roller skating rink which I had planned to. It was a brilliant day from start to finish! Can't wait until next year!

Great day of music , organisation very bad, people working in the door and not idea about the venue, rooms names, etc.. but first time event so hope will learn from mistakes and next year is much better and things start in time as expected.
Overall give a 8.5 on points and will com back next year defo .

Absolutely appalling organisation. Wasted weekend, cost of tickets, hotel and petrol. Headline venue should have capacity to hold all ticket holders as was the case when booked tickets and the festival was being held at Camp & Furnace. We arrived at 4 and all venues were at capacity! Do you think I paid £45 to watch a crappy DJ at Constellations? Queued an hour then left. Typical example of organisers getting greedy and spoiling what should have been a great event by money grabbing and releasing MANY MANY more tickets than the main venue could hold.

Review of LIVERPOOL DISCO FESTIVAL
The music was fantastic once we actually got in, felt quite poorly organised though, we missed the entire of Odyssey's set as it was one in one out from about 4.30pm so we spent over an hour queueing outside listening through the wall. Think the event organisers really should have planned for how many people were likely to want to see the main acts, as hundreds of others were in the same boat. It was a shame really, as the festival was otherwise great, the music and atmosphere were brilliant.

What a great inaugural LDF. Amazing music amazing DJs both known and unknown around the world, great atmosphere, There's things that can be tweaked like the heat in the Great Baltic Warehouse but other than that, what an event! James and the team deserve great credit for sorting it all out.
Hoping for another in 2017
