On a whole was a really good night, some moody sections of the crowd at times but that's nothing to do with the promoters or the DJs etc. I know they've cleared up the venue and stuff but a few more bogs for the lads wouldn't go a miss, always a massive queue.

Review of MASQ LIVERPOOL : 1ST BIRTHDAY
Same as every other event at the garage, so alright, until one of the toilets overflowed and flowed out over the dancefloor, no-one tried to stop it or clean it up. There was no Big Birthday anything that i noticed. The masks they handed out were too small for most peoples faces, not exactly the smokey mystical evening it was billed as.

Review of MASQ LIVERPOOL : 1ST BIRTHDAY
In short? great music, great lighting, amazing sound & a disgustingly grungy venue. Turned up around 11.20, cloak room was £5? well over priced for an event that cost a fiver, bought my first drink can't remember the price but i just remember it was a fair. The music was top, the DJ's were quality & had everyone dancing right up till 5am, combined with the lighting rig, (C02, spotlights & strobes) it was a great atmosphere. But the place was filthy, by far the dirtiest place i've been too. The toilets were atrocious & there was literally a layer of mud everywhere, RIP to anyone that falls over. Overall it was a top night & if you don't mind getting a bit mucky you'll have the best time. Also the masks are trippy as ****.
