Review of Halloween Burlesque Spooktacular at The Spare Rib
All fun, only complaints were that the venue wasnt very spacious and it was chilly at times as staff left thr door open. All great otherwise and 10 out of 10 for the performances :)

Review of The Blues Revue - Volume 2
Top Blues musicians playing in a venue with first class acoustics. If you can get along to the next Studio 2 Blues Revue you will not be disappointed. Oh nearly forgot to mention, there is also an excellent German brew on draft, always a bonus. A great night out.

Review of Sam Lyon at Studio2: UK Tour
Fabulous gig with fantastic acoustic music. Got there half way through Megan Dixon-Hood's set and I was instantly transported into a dream-like state of mind. Megan's voice is absolutely wonderful.
So id Sam Lyon's voice. Sje played all the songs off her new EP 'Comets + Constellations plus quite a few from her previous releases. Sam, like Megan, are two outstanding singer/songwriters that people should go and see when they get the chance.

Review of Stillhet Music Presents: Kalandra plus support
Kalandra were superb. I have run out of superlatives for this band. They are original and ground breaking. They have the ability to touch your soul and their songs are exhilarating. They have not played in UK in a while and the audience were most appeciative. Lead singer Kat is mesmerising in her vocal performance and her intensity flowed out to the audience. Jogier, Florian and Oscar are quite amazing musicians and their prodigious talent was apparent for all to see. The quality of the sound in Studio 2 was excellent and allowed the melodies moods and emotion of the songs to keep the audience transfixed. This band is the best I have seen in years . I would recommend anyone to go to see them live . Absolutely magical experience.

Review of Help the Homeless & Ellipsis Present: Raise The Roof
Great night - good mix of bands, some local, some from out of town.
Best band of the night: The Seamonsters - cracking all-girl 6-piece indie band from Sheffield. Imaginative songs, each with its own individuality, with great melodies, catchy riffs and some damn fine drumming. Watch out for them!
