Shambles. After paying £16.50 x 2 I got told that it wasn’t for a table or even a seat !
Most of the night the table had no one using them.
Spoiled what should have been a great night .

Review of NEW YEARS EVE - NYE EXTRAVAGANZA

Came to Revolution for NYE at the weekend and wasn't very impressed. I had been to this bar a few times before for casual drinks and nights out in the past so thought it'd be a good place to spend New Year with a group of friends. On arriving we immediately noticed all of the seating areas had been booked as booths for people who had ordered drinks packages which was fine as we knew this would be the case and thought there were other areas with options to sit down too. However, when walking round the different bar areas multiple times we realised that in fact all areas with any seating were reserved, resulting in us standing up the entire night, gathering 10 people around a tiny barrel 'table'. This wouldn't have been the end of the world if we could have actually been served drinks down this end of the bar. Instead we were told to walk to the complete other end whenever we wanted a drink as they 'couldn't serve us there' and the place we were stood was already isolated enough from the rest of the people in there as we were shoved next to a fire exit all night. We were also told about a huge fireworks display which would take place on the countdown and on rushing out to see this, there was about 5 fireworks set off over the water from us on the other side of the Docks. Overall, pretty poor night as we felt we would have only had a good night had we of bought a drinks package for over £300 and if you only bought a £10 ticket they weren't interested.

Absolutely a pathetic event, tuned up and was denied entrance baring in mind I had my ticket showing, we raised the issue and was allowed in by a manager, then we waited 20 mins at the bar for someone to approach us and say they stopped taking orders at that time, £22 a ticket for that service is beyond a joke

Really not sure what we were paying for - people being allowed in without tickets before and after our arrival - place over full and really loud - no where to sit - girl in a champagne glass unbelievably tacky - no information about where the fireworks were so missed the main ones which where on the next dock behind the buildings - it was advertised that the fireworks could be seen from the Revolution bar which was misleading.

Advertised cloak room of which there was none, if had known I wouldn't have brought my coat. Was sold ticket as if they were putting on fireworks themselves, we were told we could go out of the back to watch the fire works and the bouncers wouldn't let us out. Communication between staff was terrible, they said as long as we didn't have a drink we could go outside so we quickly drank ours to still not be let out, meaning we didn't have a drink on new year. Admits all of this meant we missed any sort of fireworks. A DJ who would have given a proper count down would have been better for the evening.
