This event was awful. We paid a fortune for a table and we were not able to dance , even at our table. It was ridiculous and frustrating and many of the people who had paid at the venue were really unhappy about this. The staff kept saying it was because if Covid restrictions which made no sense as there is nothing in the guidelines to this effect. What a Liberty to charge so much for a ticket and not to advertise that people would not be able to dance at a dance event. Many of the public challenged this with the door staff and event organiser who were aggressive and rude, saying if you don’t like it then leave. They should have done the right thing and refunded people and advertised the event more honestly, it was totally shambolic. Do not go to these events!!!

You couldn’t buy individual drinks you had to pay £100 for a 75cl bottle of vodka which would be about £10 in a shop, came in a little jug so I don’t even think it was 75cl. Bad atmosphere, had to stay sat down, couldn’t even stand at your table. Very hard to have a good time when people are constantly coming over shouting at you to sit down when you’re still at your table and not drunk because they don’t even sell drinks individually. Awful event.
