Review of Band of Skulls
I'd checked out pics of the venue before going, so, as I'm short, I got there early so I could get to the front. With such a low stage, I would have struggled to see anything if I'd been stuck behind the 6 foot plus guys next to me.
From the front, the venue was great. So close to the Skulls I even managed to accidentally bash Russell's microphone stand whilst freaking out.
Sound was well managed, could have been over-bearing in such a small venue, but wasn't. Lighting could have been a bit brighter, but I'm guessing it that small space stronger lights would have roasted everyone.
The music was never going to be anything less than awesome.
Prices?...I do remember being a bit astounded when my small JD & C**e was £4 something. But for the chance to see the Skulls in such an intimate venue, reckon I can't complain.
Great night, would definitely go to the venue again, especially with parking at only £2.50 just metres away.

Review of Band of Skulls
Amazing night! The venue is a small dark hot and sweaty ( very very sweaty) cellar, with a small stage. However this is how music should be heard! The atmosphere was amazing. Band of Skulls treated us to a set filled with many favourites from older albums. The crowd sung them word for word. So glad I was able to be part of this truly amazing night at a great independent venue.
Now to get my hearing back!!

Review of Jimmy Amnesia + Kermes + Jesuscarfish + Ibisco
Four totally different bands all great in their own way, gave some great variety. A brilliant atmosphere. Ibisco rocked it from the start and really got the crowd going which continued until the end of the night.
