Review of Mint Festival 2016
The line up was really good, the only problem was that there was far too many people in the venue even the paths were blocked had to throw people out of the way to get past no crowd control.

Been to 7 festivals this year and this was the worstly organised one I've ever been to, arrived at 1 in afternoon but queued till 5 past 5, then quad half hour to put money on the wristbands, queued at the bar for 45 minutes to get served, when we got served they didn't have the drinks we wanted finally made our way through the crowd to get to them system stage at at half 6! Massively oversold on tickets, not enough staff, only one entrance, won't be going again

WAY TOO BUSY. Can tell it was over sold, could have been potentially dangerous. Queues were an absolute joke, estimate 2-3 hours to queue to get into the event, drinks queues around an hour, toilets too busy

Review of Mint Festival 2016
Poorly organised, terrible queue management and far too many tickets sold for the venue. It was unsafe and unenjoyable. This could have the total opposite had the organisers sold fewer tickets!

worst festival I\'ve ever been too!
To start the day I had to wait in a queue for nearly 2 hours. After being told absolutely nothing by the organisers, I decided to push into the front of the queue, like so many other people were doing. Otherwise I don't think I would have made it in for another 2 hours!
After finally getting in, I was instantly in a very confined space with thousands of people moving in different directions - I now understand how farm animals feel!
Overall, the music was good but after a couple of hours, my friend had a panic attack from being in such a busy place and had to go home.
I decided I needed some water, only to be told I had to queue to put money onto my wristband and then queue for at least half an hour at the bar to buy a bottle of water, why they didn't provide fresh water taps is beyond me!
At half 7, 3 of my friends who absolutely love music and festivals and everything that goes with them decided to leave because they couldn't be bothered with this poorly organised event - 4 down, 3 to go! They missed their favourite DJ's because they were too stressed out from the day!
At 9 o'clock, my other 2 friends and I decided to leave because we had had enough of constantly being pushed and shoved by the crowds of people and not being able to breath fresh air anywhere!
This event would have been good, if the venue was in a field outside of the city centre and there had been around 5,000 less people! It's clear the organisers just wanted to make as much money as possible and didn't care about the quality of the event. Never coming to Mint again!

Review of Mint Festival 2016
the organisation of mint fest was a joke, we got there at 2:30 the queue was 3 and half hours long so we decided to try and skip the queue to right near the front we were still waiting for an hour and a half there then a further half an hour to get searched then we had to queue to get our drinks wristband so we didn't actually get a drink or get in a tent until about 6. It was way too busy I'm surprised people didn't get crushed. The music was good though but venue and organisation of it was shocking. Wouldn't go again

one thing after the other not good
Firstly the que's to get in were a joke! 3 hours waiting and 1 tiny little entrance. Once in the layout was terrible with no flow of traffic causing pushing and stampedes all the time. Hardly any security staff in sight meaning people could literally do what they want, good for some - dangerous for everybody else. Considering how good the usual nights are that Mint put on this is an awful representation of their brand. Would definitely not recommend and will 100% not go back
