Review of African Head Charge
Great music but overly priced drinks, long ques, few barstaff. DID NOT mention at all anywhere that it was card only from tickets on the door to the bar, Cashless crap.
Would see the band again anytime but the venue stinks.

Review of The Orb Live
Nice venue about a 20 minute walk from the railway station, easy enough to find with a smart phone.
Gig was 4 hours of non-stop music, some stuff I knew some I didn't but it was a great atmosphere at a venue I've never been before. It was good to see an act that's had over 30 years of success. Even though not overly well known in the mainstream, they are very well respected amongst their peers and have influenced many an act after them.
I would definitely recommend seeing the Orb and the venue.

Review of The Orb Live
This was a brilliant gig, an absolute stormer, one of the best nights out I've had for a long time. I first saw The Orb at Glasto in the early 90s and I've loved and adored their output ever since. This performance was just great - with a good support artiste to get us warmed up and then a beautifully trippy set of sound textures and interlaced rhythms. Dreamy, dancy, exciting, invigorating, fun. Thank you Alex, Jimmy and all the support crew who made it happen.
