Joy at the Musiquarium
Simply put this is the best old skool house night you will find anywhere. Everything about it is as close as you can possibly get. The venue is a converted industrial unit which gives it that warehouse feel. It's small with a capacity of only 350 so it's very intimate. There's no us and them situation with the DJs and the crowd, everyone is one and the crowd is as friendly as they come. Everyone's your mate.
My words can't do it justice. If you like your old skool dance tunes you've got to give this a try.

Lord Finesse & DJ Boogie Blind
Hip Hop at it's finest. A couple of legends doin what they do best in a venue that felt like an ol skool house party. hip hop at its very essence. Finesse flowed effortlessly through a seriously long set, while Boogie Blind represented on the decks (yeh decks not DAT) all his classics were there with a ton of crowd interaction. Respect was paid to Big L and Roc Raida, to which the 200 lucky crowd showed love for the fallen icons. If you can get tickets to the rest of the tour, do so. Finesse & Boogie hung out after talked, pictues, autographs etc and the merch. on sale was a quality selection. Overall a great gig and perfectly suited venue, hope the rest of the tour goes as well. Enjoy!
