jim Davidson was bang on the venue however was not upto standard. very disappointed the sound system was naff and was going to ask for our money back or at least some more tickets to go see jim at a better venue.I am from Morley so the venue is on my doorstep just very disappointed with the site, sorry but in this day and age it's just basics if you are going to entertain people for money at least give him a chance!

Very poor sound, which was frustrating for everyone especially Jim Davidson.
The content of his show was great, not laughed so much in ages. Couldn't fault Jim and would definitely go to see him again.

There was a problem with the sound system, (20 mins) Jim walked off 15 mins before interval ( in a mood due to something said from guy in audience)
2nd half better but overall a total waste of money.
Saw Jim 20 years ago and he was fantastic, Jim I think it's now time to retire.

Not one of Jim's best nights as in the first half he struggled to be heard due to a faulty sound system which resulted in an early interval while an attempt was made to fix it. Surely the organisers should have done a pre show sound check?
Jim was more like the comedy legend we all know after the break, patriotic, poking fun at the establishment as well as at himself and the everyday things we all do and deal with.
What could have been a really good evening was unfortunately spoilt by the technical problems.

Mr.Davidson left the stage for an early interval and after the show i was extremely disappointed that he didn't wait to sign autographs as i would have liked to thank him for the show and would have asked him to sign my copy of his autobiography.

The show started badly when the sound system failed to work properly after about 25minuets the sound man managed to get it to work after a fashion then we had the interval after which members of the audience continued to wander in and out going to the bar and all you could hear was beer cans being opened and people chatting so that you could hardly hear what Jim was saying what a waste of time and money this evening was

not all seats were out. Allocated seats on row W. there was no row W. nor U either. confused staff eventually told everyone with an W,X or U seat to sit on same row. Some people left. Microphone didnt work for the first 30 mins. Total sham

Review of Valentine\'s Motown Show I love Motown
the show was great, and Morley town hall is a lovely venue. The organisation, administration and advertising is a little dated and adhoc. We booked through Skiddle - and when we arrived, all tables had names on them or 'reserved' labels. There were two tables at the back that were for Skiddle bookings. we have no idea how you book to get your name on the front tables ?? It was also unclear whether there was a bar serving alcohol at the event, and it did not say on the tickets what time the show started.

Review of Valentine\'s Motown Show I love Motown
As a first time visitor to Morley Town Hall I was very dissapointed as on arrival was advised that we had to go up to the balcony as the room was full. This spolt the whole evening for us as the atmosphere in the room downstairs was brilliant. If I'd known that they was a possibility of having to go up to the balcony before booking which wasn't mentioned anywhere I would've thought twice about booking the tickets. I wouldn't attend any more events at Morley Town due to this reason which is a shame because I couldn't fault the music but the evening was ruined having to go sit up in the balcony.
