Review of Morecambe Comic-Con
Hmm this is tricky - I really want to support this event and there were lots of pluses (big names and some good ideas) and the pricing was affordable - but there one or two improvements that could be made which would make the event more enjoyable for all.
The venue - there's not a lot of places you could hold it inMorecambe - but it wasn't big enough - big queue waiting to get in as people left - what if the first 100 or so people had stayed all day!
Tick*ting - what was the point of buying in advance - usually you go to the front of the queue or get a bonus - but nothing for showing a bit of loyalty
Timetable - there wasn't anything to say what would happen and when - we came across two authors being interviewed - which was fab - but it was pure luck - would have been nice to know if we missed anything
Sound - investing in a decent sound system would be a good use of any money from the day!!
Hard to say if I'd recommend - glad we went but will need to improve if we are to go again!

Review of Morecambe Comic-Con
For Morecambe's first Comic Con it was a good attempt. With the size of the building, all the stalls and celebrities could be visited in half an hour. The downfalls were in two main areas: the queues and the talks. Having to rejoin a very long queue to re-enter after you have already paid was heavily frustrating, inefficient, and anyone wanting to see any talks or Q and A's would be forced to miss them. The talks and Q and A's which were apparently there weren't announced at all by any method in the lead-up to the con, or by the staff. The only way I knew there was a talk is by seeing someone's Facebook video after the con. Overall grade D-. Fair attempt, could have been better.

Review of Morecambe Comic-Con
A really good first time event. With a few tweaks it could be an awesome local event. The venue was possibly too small and it needed to be clear that the one-in-one-out queue was giving priority to those who had paid for tick*ts - I had friends who went home because they thought they would have to queue again for hours to get back in. A seating area within the venue would also have been good, since it was too cold to sit outside comfortably. Thirdly, the talk programme could have been expanded to incude q&a sessions with the guests - although I realise that the current venue is maybe not ideal for this. Overall, we had a good day out for the price!

Review of Morecambe Comic-Con
Was a great event for all ages, if a larger venue was available the event could only get better, as at times it got very busy. Should it return next year, we'l definetly all be attending again.
The 'superhero & character' team were fantastic with all the children including my disabled Godson, they really made the day special for all the kids.

Review of Cross The Tracks. A Vintage After Party
It was a good event with good vibes and a good atmisphere. I personally would've liked to hear more well known tracks from each era. I thought the dj's were good but a couple of tracks near the end of the night I felt got a bit repetetive and slightly boring to dance to. I found the guys (and gal) hired on the door outside were really friendly and welcoming.
