Review of Ipswich Preloved Vintage Kilo
Very obnoxious and ignorant people all around me whilst I was browsing 😂 other than that the staff were super nice and helpful, not to mention having a bunch of free clothes was nice.

It wasn't as great as I thought it would've been. Dont get me wrong I did buy 2 sunglasses, so I got something out of it, but in all honesty I thought the selection wasn't that great. It's great if you love OLD vintage clothes you'd find in your grand parents wardrobe, but I was hoping there'd be more current vintage clothes. Not a major issue but there were a lot of people so I partly couldn't be bothered/ partly couldn't get around to look properly.

It's was OK...glad my tickets were free as wouldn't have paid to get in. Not really a vintage fair but more a jumble sale of 80s bad clothing. Was expecting some 40s and 50s clothing at least. Too many people in venue so could only look a little and had to fight to get to rail.

Brilliant place to grab some vintage bargains! The jewellery stall was brilliant, got some lovely bits at great prices! Queue for the changing rooms was sometimes slow which was a shame - maybe more changing rooms needed next time? Please come back to Suffolk/Essex soon!!

Definitely for a younger audience.... not what I would call vintage
I waited months and months for this event to come to my home town and you better believe I booked my tickets as soon as I was able to! When I arrived the queue was extremely long, which I figured was a good sign and didn't mind waiting! The staff who helped scan my ticket and hand me a bag were extremely friendly and the general vibe from others waiting was a friendly and welcoming one. However, when I finally got inside after much anticipation, I can't say I was impressed with the clothing on offer. I was expecting clothing of all eras, types and styles; mod dresses, circle skirts, boleros, etc.) but what met me was tonnes of rather washed out and bobbled up 90s fleeces and worse-for-wear 80s jumpers. I guess this is what is popular at the moment but when did the line between secondhand and vintage get so blurred? Perhaps a discoloured Reebok T shirt is a novelty to an 18 year old, but it's not vintage. I had also been excited for the accessories, jewellery and sunglasses as I'm a big 1950s shades fan and you can't go wrong with rummaging old brooches and scarf clips! So why were the only choices cheap sunnies and tacky fashion jewellery that you find on apps like Wish? I did find one coat I liked and the till staff again were very helpful and friendly, so I have nothing but positives to say for the people running the event. I just wish it wasn't labelled as vintage when it so obviously isn't.
