Review of Stadium Music Festival - Hereford
So disappointed with Saturday that we didn't bother returning on Sunday. 2 tribute acts that didn't turn up, Gareth Gates deciding that he couldn't possibly meet & greet everyone who'd paid for VIP tickets, Dappy arriving at least 90 mins late then behaving as if he was a superstar hiding behind security and refusing to walk down the line so the FEW fans he has left could take photos. At one point I reported to a steward in the stands that people were now smoking in the general area that everyone was sitting in to be told that if security didn't see it there was nothing that could be done. We even witnessed people smoking next to the barriers between the stage and the arena area whilst they were talking to a steward. It had been made clear on Facebook that you couldn't take folding chairs in yet we counted at least a dozen dotted around in the crowd. I have been to several festivals and never before have we been prevented from coming and going as we please, that surely is what the wrist bands are for? I purchased early bird tickets in good faith thinking that you would at least have one decent live band, Amelia Lily to be fair was the best you had to offer and then purchased a full price Sat ticket for my daughter who was desperate to see Dappy who was just CRAPPY.

The tribute bands did not show up, main reason for going, nobody even told us they were not coming. Dappy was so late and then acted out like a spoiled child.
Overall was s nice day out but if the tribute were not going to be there we would not of gone. Feel a bit ripped off as no refunds were given or part refunds offered, could of made this an annual thing but would not go again.

Went to the Clubland Festival and what an amazing event, from the time of walking into the ground I just knew it was going to be awesome. Brilliant day, brilliant artists and amazing DJ's, The whole day was just AMAZING. Please please let's do Clubland all over again next year 👌ðŸ‘ÂðŸ˜Â

Disappointed that Ultrabeat weren’t there themselves it was just the host DJ playing a version of “pretty green eyes”. Feel a little let down by that. Ticket prices were way too expensive £20 tops would have been more acceptable. The Prosecco and Gin bar although lovely staff... the Pink Gin pitcher that we ordered had so much red food colouring in it it made you wonder actually if there was any Gin in it atall?! Overall a good day ..we had fun ...would go again for cheaper ticket prices

although we both enjoyed it.
we both felt that the first night was trying to cater to everyone.
also the fact that we couldn't leave the venue when acts we wasn't interested in was a pain.
the meet and greet of the artist was badly organised as we don't know who was staying and who wasn't. we missed a few of the start of acts because we was waiting for photos that never actually happened.
over all we enjoyed the day but the restrictions imposed this year was annoying.
waiting for the toilets was bad. women was going in to the men's (having clear signs on where all the toilets are would be a good idea for next time).barstaff and security did a brilliant job.

My only issue was food and drink prices with very little choice. When you have a family as big as ours, food and drink was too pricey. Also, kids became very dehydrated and there were not enough vegetarian choices. It wouldn't have hurt to have been allowed to bring our own picnic. We still would have spent money. You would draw a bigger crowd if people were given the choice. There was no gluten free menu either despite what you stated on the website/fb page that we could find. We looked but what was claimed to have been gluten free was sadly not or was not made clear enough. I think the understanding of menus need to be thoroughly checked and catered for on a much larger scale if people are forced to buy. Also, there were not enough bins or recycling options (surprised at the amount of plastic cups wasted and thrown around whilst my kids were reusing their cups easily enough). The music was brilliant. The atmosphere was amazing and fun was had by all and I would gladly take the family again if the option to take our own food was allowed next time.
