Really friendly. Nicely sized (not too big like some of the London ones). Fairly good variety of stalls and things to do. Will definitely be coming again next year!

Small but dedicated guests. The con had everything - guests, photoshoots, props, cosplayers and stalls. Chatted with a few other attendees and everyone was in a great mood, having a great day. Perhaps a better venue next time?

good.apart from could not get one day ticket had to get 2 day ticket . and was told you could not buy a ticket on the door but you could.

I thought venue was good. The talks in the squash courts were great.
Smaller than I thought but I loved it. No massive queues to meet stars.

I felt that the cost of the ticket was disproportionate to the size of the event. I have been to similar events elsewhere and have passed a whole day there unlike comic con where we were done in a couple of hours.

this was our first comic-con and we all had a great time. Lots of cosplay costumes warn, a handful of famouses, and a lot of enthusiasts. wonderful. I would just say it should have need advertised more.

First time at the comic-con and I had a great time meeting actors, shopping for memorabilia and seeing people in cosplay. A plus for the venue with easy parking.

It was my first time attending and I think overall it was such a lovely day and there was enough to keep me busy throughout. It would obviously be great to have more well known stars attend but obviously I know there is a budget but I still knew one or two and did have a photograph taken. The stalls had a decent variety of items and the cosplay section was great. I will definitely attend this again in the future. The only thing I would really change is to perhaps have some good signage up on the entrance to the car park as for people who do not live in Guildford it was difficult for me to tell I was at the right place for the convention.

Loved it! Mainly for the guests, Met actors from star wars, walking dead and the hobbit. Also there was game of thrones actors which were very cool but I don't collect GOT autographs as it's expensive enough doing other shows and films, the venue was great and loved the free walking dead talk , would of been good to add a couple more stalls to really fill up the floor, the organisation, timing and staff was all 10/10, I travelled nearly 4 hours for this event and providing next year they have one or two good guests I wish to meet then I'll definitely be there!!

I LOVE Comic Con and am going to others this year too. I really enjoy the Guildford one and will go again. The atmosphere is great and I love to see all the cos players etc. A few things for feedback though, as I do think it's important- the event didn't seem very well publicised and the sign at the entrance of the Spectrum was tiny and not really very exciting - it would have been great to see some big posters along the road to advertise it. It also would have been great to have something (or someone in costume!) at the main entrance promoting it. One other thing - the prices for meeting actors...... I appreciate that it'll cost money to get such great actors to attend, but the prices just to meet your favourite actors are extortionate! You're paying for a ticket to get into the venue already (which, if you don't spend all day there for talks etc is only getting you in to shop really!!) and then, if you wanted to meet all of the actors and get autographs and selfies, you're looking at well over £100.

As a result of this, when we arrived all of the actors tables were empty and the actors looked a bit fed up to be honest! I did pay £10 Just for a selfie with Robert Picardo as he is one of my faves, but there were others I'd love to have met, but couldn't warrant spending that kind of money. It seemed alot quieter this year compared to last year and alot of the stall holders commented on this- one even saying that he wished he hadn't bothered. I don't want to see Guildford Comic Con going down the pan as it is a really good event! It just needs a few tweaks! I'd be more than happy to help for next year 😊
