Well organised and welcoming. Sound and time issues with Aswad meaning they only played or were onstage for about 15-20 mins. Sound quality poor for Aswad excellent for Misty in Roots and djs

Black roots and Misty in Roots were brilliant....was a bit disappointed in Aswad.... too Poppy..!!
Loved the venue...open space always great...even in the light rain ......
Great event to highlight multicultural Govan....and even better that they reduced cost for local residents and unwaged.....
Danced all evening.....well done Govan Hill Baths...looking forward to next years line up...... Say NO to Racism in our communities..........

Really enjoyed this event even though the headline act had to cut their set short due to curfew reasons. They didn't seem to be really interested though. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. No long queues for bar or toilets.

Saw Misty and Roots performance, they were brill but was very disappointed with Aswad's performance or lack of !!!! They did say that Tony wasn't feeling well but the sound quality was very poor and only played for 30 mins 😐 was really looking forward to their performance but was so let down !!!

Black Roots were decent, Misty in Roots were absolutely superb, Aswad were terrible. I know Tony was unwell but that doesn't excuse the poor song choices and the very little time they were on - roots reggae my backside, they've sold out, not the genuine Aswad, shouldn't be advertised as a roots reggae band now. Misty in Roots could have taken the full gig, totally different class. Event started late, finished early, poor sound engineering too.

This concert was marred by the vocal problems of Aswad and their short set so it's a bit difficult to judge. We loved Black Roots. The compere was very shouty and a bit aggressive, it was all old-school left-wing politico. Almost no young people and not many non-white! Food on offer looked lovely but a plainer choice more suitable for young tastes would have been good. We had to go out and spend on fish and chips elsewhere - you missed an opportunity. No programme and everything ran late. Also would have liked some other stalls. But a friendly event, mostly very well organised and good provision.

Great venue. Good refreshments. Way too early curfew. Aswad let down but feedback/poor sound and little rapport with audience. Good cause. Hope there are more events planned like this.
