Totally let down by this event, love Scottish comedy and have attended several shows - rotunda, yes bar, drive in etc. As previously learned if you see the same comedian too soon after a show, they will have the sam routine and jokes... But I thought after almost a year and a half in lockdown the least the comedians would come up with new material, the first 2 acts said the same jokes word for word. Christopher's Hungary slagging Scotland joke fell flat as many audience members already knew the punch line. Jay at least gave new material and we enjoyed her act. As the evening grew colder and as we were so disappointed we decided to leave before the last 2 acts, only to be greeted at the entrance by staff letting random members of the public from the park in to the gig for free (obviously to make seats look full) but what a kick in the teeth, paying almost £18 tickets for 2 year old stale stand up routine that people ended up seeing for free. It has totally put me off attending future events and I definitely will not be recommending. Genuinely was so looking forward to a great night of laughs after a terrible year, but was sorely let down!

Apart from the issues with the bar (not enough staff behind or in front serving but those there were did a great job and work really hard! ) was a well run event...the weather was great which helped make it a very enjoyable summer evenings entertainment. Few more toilets for larger events would be good too...

Review of Laugh In The Park
Good night had by all, helped by the weather and a good atmosphere. Downside was the bar service. It was 'table only' but nowhere near enough staff to cope. Average waiting time trying to get someone to take an order was 30-40 mins then another 20 for drinks to arrive. Also nowhere near enough toilets to cope with the numbers. If you need to go you would easy miss a whole act ?

Laugh in the park was brilliant!! All acts were amazing and although there was a long wait for drinks the bar and waiting staff did amazing and were all so happy even though they were rushed off their feet.

drinks service was terribly slow, badly understaffed, and the toilet situation was ridiculous- women having to wash their hands beside men using a urinal. otherwise was a fun night, but seriously needs more staff

Review of Laugh In The Park
The acts were great completely! We had been looking forward to this so much then the fact we didn’t get served the full night no matter how many waiters we stopped and said this to! 4 hours without any drink apart from water and even that we had to say we needed.
It’s a real shame how poor the system was it totally took away from the great night- people had been in the houses nearly 2 years then finally get an event and don’t get served. Disgusted that it was just the large groups of folk getting served getting 3 drinks each at a time and was served 3 times and myself and mum not once.
An absolute disgrace we stopped 4 waiters who kept saying it was not their fault but would come back to us then never.
