Review of Mystical Gardens
Very good idea that was poorly executed. expensive for the poor quality. A night of mystery, magic and the strange consisted of fairy lights round trees and 6 entertainers, 2 groups of which were the same. No proper sound so you couldn't hear what was being said by the entertainers and a quick wander round the botanics. All and all a overpriced night for a wander round a park.

A big disappointment. Such a great venue with so many possibilities for spectacular light displays. Instead the event was done on the cheap with huge sections of the tour dark, or spa**ely lit with just a few colored lights. Can't recommend this event at all.

Review of Mystical Gardens
Very poor light displays and also lots of trip hazards (speed bumps are invisible in the dark...) not well organised and not a lot to see, we were in and out in 30minutes. Over priced for that it was and he last electric garden and electric glen was a lot better.

Very disappointing and not in any way enticing. Cringeworthy fire eaters and some fairy lights flung round fir trees does not a mystical garden make . I have more interesting lights in my back garden.

Had a great night with elderly parents. Lovely to see the gardens at night. I would recommend getting there early as you can spend all night just wandering yourself after the tour. We got separated from our group but just joined in with other groups for the stories. Hopefully it will be on next year so we can go again.

Review of Mystical Gardens
The venue was a good choice and the event had the potential to be fantastic but it didn't quite achieve it. I understand that we were asked to go round as a group to savour the total experience but it simply didnt work. The dramas were poorly executed and added little to it. It Shd have remained simply focussed on being a spectacle for the eyes ! The long wait to get in and for the tour begin were tedious and prolonged. It wdve bn much nicer just to have walked in and explored at will. All in all we left very cold and disappointed. Keep
It simple , focus on the key aspect which shd have bn a splendid visual feast .

Was ok experience, I know it's a night time event but the pathways could have been better lite as there were holes and speed bumps which u don't see until your either tripping over or falling into, park looked really nice with lights and lanterns in the trees, fire eaters were really good too, this really is a event for kids and would be an excellent experience during a summer night as you could sit on the grass or benches and look at the lights, just bit cold in February

Not worth the money. Expected to queue outside but not the 25 minutes inside before anything happened. We were all frozen before it started. Amazing opening act, amazing storyteller, but the rest was disappointing. You need a wow in Kibble and at least three other stops to make it a real event

What a waste of money!! Thought we would have a tour guide with a microphone......how wrong ! We were left to find the way in near blackness by ourselves, like a herd we stuck together and followed like sheep into the unknown! They let you in Kibble gardens for a magic show but you just snake in and round with NOTHING to see but plants then encounter the magic person on the road out! The "wizard" was PATHETIC. He just encircled a light stick and ball round and round his head. No microphone so people at the back couldnt hear him. Oh boy! What a waste of money and time! Give us our money back please!

Review of Mystical Gardens
I love the Botanic Gardens in Glasgow, however this event did not show any of the best features of them. There was little to no lighting in areas of the park, there were ramps where cabled had been laid which were giant trip hazzards.
The special effect lighting of the trees where pretty no existent, we never found an enchanted woods at all, unless you are counting the white fairy lights on the rose arches.
The fire performers were AMAZING, the only redeeming feature in an otherwise cold evening. Pity the music kept cutting out.
Lots of waiting around at the beginning, too long a wait for young children on a February evening.
Really wish I could have recommended this as the gardens are wonderful.

We were really disappointed with the event. We question for 20 minutes after our time slot then we didn’t really feel it was more than a few trees lit up and some looked lit with Christmas lights. I wouldn’t book this event again.

This had the opportunity to be brilliant but it sadly misses the mark. The first gent who explains the history of the garden a is good. When he finishes there is an awkward moment of not really knowing if you are waiting for a guide or heading out as the group. The first fire eater/dancer are fun enough. The acts start without the whole group being in attendance so there was a lot of annoyed people - including us.
The bit about the old station is just crap.
The food stands closed before the tour was finished - That was silly.
We had originally booked a 10pm start but received a text letting us know that the event was cancelling late entries - I assume because of poor sales?
Finally, the Facebook page is no longer active. There were a lot of bad reviews on there. I wonder why it's gone now?

This was not what we expected. It was very amateurish and we have seen higher quality street entertainers during the Edinburgh festival. The poorly lit paths made it difficult for people to see where they were going , especially those with pushchairs.
This could have been a fantastic night but was let down by poor planning, organisation and imagination!
