Review of New Years Eve: Smoove & Turrell DJ/PA Set
Started at 9, although all kit set up and music already playing when we arrived about 8.15pm. We left about half past 10...little atmosphere as no interaction with the audience other than one comment ‘let’s get this party started’. This could have been a play list using Spotify on someone’s phone. Felt it was a waste of money...not sure if it picked up later but there was no indication of that an hour and a half after the start time that anything else was on offer. Went home very disappointed and felt we had been ripped off. Not impressed!

Review of New Years Eve: Smoove & Turrell DJ/PA Set
I was highly disappointed to discover that my table had paid for tickets to be there and yet there was people who hadn't, so essentially you didn't need a ticket at all, which came across as a money grabbing scheme. Either ticket it or not and have people on the doors checking rather than a free for all. The band didn't come on until 10:40pm, which meant the atmosphere was pretty rubbish until that point. However, to manage expectations next time, if you're going to have an event, don't advertise it as starting at 9pm and then don't give a guide of when the band would start. If we had known what time they were starting we wouldn't have got annoyed and left.
However, on a positive note, the venue was pretty unique and the prices of drinks wasn't too bad, so that I enjoyed.
