Great venue, good set up but experience not as described. The sound / music was advertised as being set through your car radio. Refreshments were advertised but when asked, the staff said 'they couldn't get it'

On the website when booking it said there would be refreshments and delivery to car with contactless payments. With hungry children it was disappointing to get there and find out this didn’t exist.
The head phones crackled though out the experience. Apparently they couldn’t get a licence for the radio dial in.. It was ok, and field was fine, but no atmosphere and disappointing. I appreciate we all have challenges with COVID-19 at the moment but just some basic communication about what the reality of the event would be like would have been appreciated. Not sure I’d go to one again.

We came as a socailly distac ned goup in three cars. It was so nice so be safely together in these strange times. We all had a great time and could see the screen and hear the film. We were a family of four so the price was actually very good but for couples it was probably a bit steep.

The film froze and skipped about 15 minutes ahead which was annoying as I had to explain to my husband what had been missed

Very poor. 45 minutes late starting. Cracking headphones. No sign they had been sanitised- look like they were collected from previous performance then handed out. I’m sure I read that you weren’t allowed to get out of your vehicle except for emergency toilet visit- but there were many out wandering around and dancing- fine normally but not in this Covid situation- totally unchallenged. Also I was waiting for refreshment orders to be taken and delivered to car door. But nothing. And was expecting to tune car radio into the sound - not have some greasy used headphones handed out.
Could have been very good but was poor and expensive

Event was ok. Communication from event organisers poor. Only got update at 1 pm regarding details of event. Arrived in good time before start (one of first 20 cars), but this was pointless as the majority of cars in our car height range were allowed to go before us, hence we were much further back than should have been! No refreshments on offer depots when booking they were on offer. Headphones crackled so had to be replaced 3 times! We were unconvinced that the headphones met the required antibac levels needed at present. No information given on screen as to when film would start and no introduction. The film just started and the. Stopped!

Firstly it was in a field with no visible view of Powderham.
We were led to believe there would be a vintage theme in the form of décor, adverts, signage, refreshments etc. Absolutely no effort- at all- had been made at all with vintage décor/atmosphere.
The film started at 9.30, instead of 9pm.
The film froze at one of the most important scenes, which was then fast forwarded over, and then approx. 20 minutes of the movie was cut completely- also important scenes to the plot. No explanation or apologies.
No organisation on leaving- a free for all of vehicles attempting to exit a field.
I will be asking for reimbursement.
All this for £38.00.

So disorganised! Technical issues so film was 45 mins late and everyone’s headphones kept breaking! Grease, the film, saved it! But don’t think that was down to the organisers!

Slow to get in and Free for all to get out. Headphones not radio music like advertised which had static in and were too big And Uncomfy for the children’s heads. Snacks advertised but not available.

The film was great until there was a technical issue about half way through resulting in some of the film being missed out. As I haven’t seen it before I have no idea what happened in that part so it really ruined the film for me. Also I feel the price is very steep for what you get. Considering the Plymouth events are about half the price of the Exeter ones.

Great afternoon, spent with my daughter, watching Grease. We also took a picnic with us, which we enjoyed in the campervan.

The film froze halfway through and then restarted after missing a chunk of the film. There were no period adverts or people dressed ap or retro signs anywhere. Quite disappointed.

A really fab afternoon out which made social distancing easy whilst having a shared experience. I would certainly go again.

Was a good set up. Took a bit of time to get started but once we realised what was happening it was fine.

Have only put three stars for atmosphere as it’s difficult to judge what it would usually be like. Ads all said staff would be dressed up and food would be available to order from car windows but none of this happened. Assuming it’s because of current Covid regulations but no explanation given as to whether or not this is the case.
