Review of Live Lounge - Laura Mvula
Although only two songs were played, it was an excellent show and it was really interesting to see a small glimpse in to how the live lounge is produced. I'd recommend anybody to go if they had the chance.

Review of Radio Q & A: Take part in Radio 1\'s playlist meeting
I really enjoyed the playlist meeting, I got to witness and be a part of how music is selected and all that there is to think about before an artist is verified to become broadcasted via the radio station.

Review of Live Lounge - AlunaGeorge
It was really good and because it was my first Live Lounge, I didn't know what to expect. Also, it was pretty awesome, as I sat in the front row so I was up close to the stage and the atmosphere was pretty good.

Review of BBC Introducing Gig
I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, really well organized and presented. If there is anything constructive it's that I don't feel that it was advertised as well as it could have been. I think this was reflected in the amount of people enjoying the experience.

Review of BBC Introducing Gig
Muncie Girls were incredible, stuck true to their roots and it shone through in their performance and how they presented themselves. Tourists were talented and interesting to watch although not my thing. Witterquick had a good sound but played the night up too much, I felt this alienated the idea of locally grown music being authentic. Unfortunately this theme of "locally grown authenticity" could be seen throughout the night, with BBC advertisement decorated everywhere and the use of an introducer for the headline act. For someone involved in local music in Exeter and around Devon, I personally felt somewhat offended and patronised by the presenter putting across that the BBC was the institution bringing music to people in the county. This is definitely not the case and they would understand this if more research had gone into DIY promotion that is ongoing and particularly building around Devon. Due to the corporation aspect of the BBC however, I understand that it is unlikely for them
to encourage support for not-for-profit organisations in favour of themselves - highlighted by the constant talk surrounding R1's Big Weekend etc. The Phoenix as a venue has a good space but for a night that is celebrating locally grown music and being supportive of that, The Cavern appeared to be a better choice of venue.
