Review of Fishers Fantasia Fireworks 2019

This event did not live up to its expectation. The disney music was inaudible. There wasn’t enough entertainment to keep children entertained between 5 and 6:30, which was when the silent fireworks were. The space was much smaller than expected. Children were getting very restless. The silent fireworks were not silent and it lasted approx 5 mins. The main event was at 7:30 but this was too late for most of the children at the event.

Music was quite low. Would have had a more dramatic effect if louder. Besides that it was a very pleasant display. Not too crowded.

I know weather cannot be help but forcefully advertised Disney Fantasia !!!!! No music you could hear quite fireworks were loud ... 1 food stall with an hour plus queues..... No funfair as advertised.... all kids glow goods sold out before fireworks started ....long boring wait for normal fireworks that were also rubbish.... very disappointing to say the least costing £25.

Firstly the bouncy castle is cancelled due to weather- fair enough but there was no warning about children’s fun fair being cancelled. The glow sticks sold out so not all children got any. The children’s fireworks lasted the length of one song and were not at all silent. At which point children had to wait an hour in the cold with no other form of entertainment. The toilets had no water to flush or wash hands. The food was not cooked properly and the serving staff were licking cheese from their fingers whilst serving the food. There was no security marshalling the exit and a number of children got knocked over. And the sparklers sold didn’t light.

Could not hear anything from the back of the venue, appart from Mickey and minnie mouse, where was the Disney theme?..
Lovely venue and shame there was no fair.

Hot drinks was priced very well but lining up was a problem.

The queue for pre paid tickets was about 10times as long as pay on the door and the time between displays was far too long 30/40mins would have been long enough, we were left cold with screaming tired kids and it wasn’t just mine, everyone around us had crying kids too by the time the 7.30 display came on (which was late coming on aswel)

So very disappointed. We have been going to John Fisher every year for the fireworks display but this year was a massive let down.
No background music, terrible lighting, no rides or fun for the children, the silent fireworks lasted all of 5 mins and there was an hour wait for the big fireworks which were noticeably smaller than previous years.
The one food stall had a 40 minute queue and there was no atmosphere at all. We went in a crowd after recommending to family and friends and felt gutted that we didn't choose a different venue.
I understand the weather earlier in the day may have meant the usual inflatables could not be used but there was literally nothing to do other than stand around for 3 hours in the cold. We won't be coming back next year.

Nothing to keep children occupied
No music or lights
One food stall so queue was long

Everything advertised on flyer we didn’t get

Who do I speak to in regard to complaining and getting my money back
Will never come back again !

Fireworks only lasted for 12 minute & only mikey & minnie mouse were on the entrance other than that not one disney theme in sight. No fun fair & place was pretty much empty but half 8/9pm. Really disappointed as we invited friends & family & usually have a great time at this venue.

Poor variety of stalls and activities for children as stated there would be on the flyer.

We were promised a fair, sparklers corner. There were none. There was one long queue for chips that would have taken over 40mins. Very poorly organised

Very disappointing evening. Was advertised to have fun fair and stalls. No fun fair and only a cake and burger stall. The sparkler zone ran out of sparklers early in the evening. Had try and entertain a 3 year for an hour, due to the large gap between firework shows.

It was dark, you could not hear the music. The que for the food was around a 2hr wait. Cupcake lady ran out of cakes. no entertainment for the children while waiting for the fireworks.

Absolutely awful. Not as described, no fair or bouncy castle as mentioned. No prior warning of this. No lighting, health and safety hazard, couldn’t hear the music. Worst fireworks ever!!

No bouncy castle or funfair .. nothing for children to do .. field was so muddy in places it was very unsafe! Fireworks were not silent like advertised
