after visiting lots of big comic cons and going to the northwich comic con i found that it was good but very crowed bored after 2 hours should have used more rooms

I was happy to attend my first Comic Con at the Northwich Memorial Hall, it was fun and had a little bit of everything. It was fun for a few hours but after a while I had seen everything, I do wish there had been a separate area to greet and take pictures of the costumed heroes/villains as it was a bit therefore difficult to get a picture without getting another person in the shot. Something else I found surprising was that despite the name there were no actual comics! I was happy with the merchandise I managed to get yet at the same time a tad disappointed the autographs were so pricey.

Something else was I think the scheduling was a bit drawn out, I had hoped to witness the costume contest winner but since it would past 2pm and I had arrived at just after 10am I did not feel I could stay the whole time without repeating the circuit of merchandise stalls and autographs, while limited were still very nice, especially the hand painted art and items. I was a bit disappointed that there were no Capcom booths, as a big fan of the Okami & Okamiden series I went hoping to find some exclusive merchandise for my collection and was only able to find a nice hand painted Okami picture (and an adorable Eevee picture also).

In reality I think I bigger up the event too much in my mind, imagining past Comic Cons in bigger cities like New York and San Diego so was of course setting myself up for a fall in that regards.

Something else was that we were not specifically told where the vehicle displays would be, aside from the Night Rider car and the American police cruiser I had no idea other vehicles were there!

One thing I could not fault were the costumed heroes, staff and vendors there. Everyone was so friendly and happy to help with any query I asked and helped me to find what I was looking for if they could, I could not have asked for better people to put on the first Comic Con in Northwich!

Overall though, I am glad I went. I got to experience a small taste of the otaku culture in my own small corner of the globe, granted not as Japanese but still fun, the costumed characters were all so nice and happy to pose with whoever asked and I got to meet and strike a pose alongside my favourite comic book character Dark Phoenix!

For a first time comic-con in Northwich, it was a very well done event. There was plenty of stalls packed in despite the size of the venue itself and the staff were very easy to talk to. My only concern though was that, although the hand made goods and artwork were a definite win, there was a lack of alternative stalls. I have given a 4 for the music as, although it was good, you could only hear it towards the back of the venue nearest the stage. I have given a 4 for venue, but that it only due to the size. Prices were fair, not too high as, if you had bought them direct from Japan, there would have been a delivery charge. Atmosphere was excellent, stall managers were friendly and the staff were very helpful. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for the next comic-con in Northwich.

Wasn't too impressed that I'd pay for a tick*t and just walked in without anyone asking to see it. Also for £10 I had walked round the entire show and had a good luck at each table in about ten minutes. Stalls were better than I thought though made a few purchases on my third walk around- but honestly I left after 20 minutes.

After attending the event all I can say is why have u charged the comic con was so small it didn't justify u paying for it the only good thing was the. Celebs being there but 6.00 for a tick*t lol I mean come on

I'm a regular visitor to comic cons with my son. Thus was on my doorstep so was looking forward to attending.

I thought the set up was pretty good and a good selection of stalls but the venue was a bit small. I would say it needed more of a balance of guests and stalls as it seemed more like a big shop.

Whenever I go to these events there us always a gamers section where you can play retro games and things. Maybe it would be something to think about for next time?

All in all for a first one I thought it was a good attempt. It wasn't expensive and my son enjoyed himself which is all that matters to me so I give it a thumbs up.

Small. Quick to see everything. But really enjoyed it. If there was more content in the future itd be a brilliant place and easier to get to for those who struggle to reach the major cities

Disappointed that the venue was smaller than I had anticipated and multiple stalls selling the same products. Biggest disappointment was that there were no comic books on sale at the Comic Con! The people in costume did really well and added to the atmoshpere but despite there being only a small number of stalls the hall was cramped and hard to get round.

For the size of the venue (which was not very big) we really enjoyed it. Even in line waiting to get in was event full. The kids loved getting their pictures taken with all the different characters although we were a bit gutted that we missed bumblebee. In all it was a good hour & a half and was reasonably priced, I just wish the venue was larger so there could have been more stuff.
