Went late mainly to see Odyssey who were great. Glad we did as there was very little else of interest for adults. The event would benefit from craft stalls etc.

Lovely family oriented fun day

Badly organised, no one knew what they were doing. Queued for an hour to get in even though we had a ticket, just to watch other people blagging their way in. Our tickets weren’t even check when we finally did get in. Not enough staff/volunteers to advise on queues and parking.
Once in, there were only a few tables and seats., which were all taken. The bar staff didn’t have a clue what they were doing, one hadn’t even heard of Prosecco!
Music was ok, apart from the Robbie Williams act, totally inappropriate and not a ‘family’ type of act. Just awful.
Weather was nice, which was a good job seeing as we had to sit on grass!

Brilliant day sun shone.
Only down side was entrance organisation, maybe have a pre paid entrance and cash entrance instead of one line up the road.

A lovely day & great stalls, nice selection of fairground rides for under 5’s.

Only issue I had and feel like should be addressed for next time is the getting in... the Q was horrendous , it wasnt very good / organised getting in, the Q was on a busy road on the wrong side of the road to the venue...& the stewards were telling people to join the back of the Q and then expecting people to cross a busy road on a bend too... Shocking!
Ideally the Q should of been on the same side as the venue to save any accidents etc.

Hopefully this is an issue that will be looked at for next time.
Great day out and great prices all round., will be back next year if it’s on again, hope so!

Good day but just a couple of points:
1 . Arrived dead on 12.00. Got to Cricket Ground and with a stream of other cars was pointed back to car park back the way we came. Told there were stewards on corner directing people. There were no stewards when we arrived.
2. Main stage was too near marquee (or sound from there too loud) Every act that was on in the marquee could hardly be heard; was drowned out by main stage music/sound.
Apart from that really good day and otherwise well organised.

It was just so expensive maybe think about lowering the prices, if it's a family event youve priced out people coming with more the one child

I really enjoyed this, but the biggest complaint I heard was that there were no stalls other than food. The fair rides were expensive and my 9 yr old was bored after 40 minutes - there was nothing for kids apart from the fair rides. As it was in its first year I think that there is plenty of room for improvement. I think the sound levels were too high from the main stage, the acts could be heard from the Recreation Centre.
