Review of Heather Small Live in Chester Cathedral
Told that last entry was 7.15, but people weren't allowed in until 7.45 and the queue was a few hundred metres long - people not moving and it was raining. Heather Small only came on late and did about 50 minutes! Her voice was good but couldn't hear her talking and the sound quality wasn't great. She even said we should be grateful she was there, as she had a 4 hour drive to get there. Only one way out after the concert which caused chaos, especially with the cloak room being in the way too. In all very disappointed! Will be asking for a refund.

Music and wpeeformance was great. However the venue organisation wasn't the best. 2 emails sent both read similar but the same nd email had a different entrance time. Nothing said new information enclosed so I chose not to read it. Left standing outside on the night form the 6:45 opening time original 6:30 until 7:15. Nobody informed us why. It was raining and lots of older people in the crowd. Apparently they were performing the sound checks which surely could have taken place as we were entering / going the bar etc. Also on exit there was one main door of the church that got extremely congested. No one thought again for 15mins or so to just remove the temporary barrier at the rear of the building next to the portable toilets. Wouldn't recommend cream classics co.

heather small was brilliant, the cathedral was beautiful.
coming out of the venue was a disaster waiting to happen!!
there was only one way out, and i felt very unsafe especially if we had to get out in an emergency!!

Heather Small was great but the sound for the DJ music was terrible. Sound was bouncing. Although the Cathedral is an impressive, beautiful building the acoustics for this kind of music, for us, seemed a battle of noise. At one point it was like two different tracks being played in a battle at the same time. Drinks were an absolute rip off. Two thimble sized c**es in a flimsy plastic cup was £6. Two bottles of water £6.
We were disappointed that there was only the main act and DJ's not a support act and main act was only on for an hour. This was not announced before the tickets were sold. The staff were friendly and Heather was good, venue was beautiful as a Cathedral but all in all I wouldn't go to this type of concert there again.

Review of Ibiza Proms in Chester Cathedral
The evening,ambience and venue were absolutely amazing !!!!!!
Thought the ticket price was a little high
And the system for entry needs to change,far too slow,the evening was meant to start at 6:30 pm and we were still queuing to get in at 7:30pm and it was raining !!!!
But overall a fantastic evening
Would highly recommend ?'?
