Review of The Launch of TOO DARN SOULFUL @ The Funky Fish
Our first time & loved it, good venue, dancefloor & awsome music.
Only one thing is that people took drinks on dance floor, if they persist after being told the. Ask them to leave, these people did not seem to be part of Northern soul & understand that we do NOT take drinks on dancefloor!
Review of Too Darn Soulful NORTHERN SOUL Mini-Dayer
Went with a few friends and had a great time. This was our first time at one of these events and everyone was so friendly, we really felt welcome. Music was FAB, very nostalgic and we danced our socks off. We normally jive, so this was something different for us but would definitely do it again.

New Years Eve at the Funky Fish
Amazing music when we arrived. We were expecting 70s, 80s, 90s music which is why we decided to go there in the first place. For the most part, the DJ stuck to the theme but towards the end started playing songs such as Firework by Katy Perry and I Know You Want It which was disappointing. Service at the bar was very slow, even with almost no queue and the actual countdown had Gangnam Style in the background and wasnt announced properly - we stood there wondering if it was the countdown or not. We had a fun time but would have stayed longer had the music stuck to the theme of the night.

New Years Eve Party
My boyfriend and I had a great night on New years Eve and we thought the music was excellent. Only complaint really was allowing people to drink on the dance floor, this should not be allowed lots of spilt drinks and slippery floors. But saying that it is a great venue and would recommend and will be coming back.
