Review of Cafe Mambo Ibiza Brighton Seafront Takeover
This event was over sold and underdelivered. It was supposed to be a multi venue beach takeover. In actual fact. It was a small section of OhSo where those of us who had paid for tickets were worse off than the general public. Those that did not have ticket had wind breaks and heaters on and were directly in front of the dj. Those of us who had paid had to endure no heat and no shelter. We were freezing. I assumed we would be able to dance inside but there was a wedding taking place there. So we waited from 5pm until 10pm to go into the club inside. The queue was hardly moving so we left.
I tried to get more information from the organisers in advance but they did not respond to my email. I tried to leave a question on the facebook page but they did not allow anyone to post. On Sunday there was supposed to be Jason Bye and Brandon Block. Neither played. I had bought 4 weekend tickets and 2 Sunday ticket and we felt totally ripped off.

Review of Cafe Mambo Ibiza Brighton Seafront Takeover
There was no cafe mambo vibe at the venue, I listen to that type of music at home & it was nothing like it. The door man was abrupt with us. On the way to the venue we were chatting with some girls who were also going there & had free entry. So what did I buy tickets for exactly?
We didn't stay as it was not what we expected. Total waste of money!

Review of Cafe Mambo Ibiza Brighton Seafront Takeover
This was completely mis-advertised! A festival vibe it was not - it was simply access to venue who were not prepared for the event by admission and they had one member of staff on bars, meaning a 40 minute wait for drinks. An absolute shambles to be honest.

Review of Cafe Mambo Ibiza Brighton Seafront Takeover
I am not sure what I paid for ... The original event was from 5pm and when I downloaded my ticket it changed to 10pm at a club that allowed people in without tickets. I feel ripped off and there was no organisation to the event...over £100 for 2 tickets and I was so disappointed that I left on Sunday morning.

Didnâ??t need ticket for Sat pre-venue. Sat night venue was dingy, dark & music too hardcore - nothing that youâ??d associate with Cafe Mambo in Ibiza. Waste of money.
