Praise for the enthusiastic cast, however this did not make up for the appalling sound quality.
We were told to sit at the sides or the front 'as it gets a bit boomy' we sat at the front on the right hand side and could barely hear a thing because the sound was so distorted.
Half the audience left at the interval, and some even left in the first half because they couldn't bear it, if it hadn't been for our 9 year old saying she was enjoying the show, we would have left at halftime.

Sound was very bad at the tiered seats at the back, I think the venue was partly to blame. We couldn't hear clearly what was being said and that ruined it for us.
Having said that, the children at the front seemed to thoroughly enjoy it.

Complete disaster! The acoustics were all echoes and shrieks as the event was held in a vast sports hall. We couldn't understand what was being said and the kids got bored, I got a headache, we complained to the Leisure Centre and the lady said it was nothing to do with them and to contact Berkshire Events- which I plan on doing. We left before the interval, as did some others. The kids were disappointed. As I stood up to leave the family next to me said "can't stick any longer can you?" And it summed it all up.

It was truly awful . I took by 2 boys the speakers did not work you could not hear what the actors were saying. Boys were bored and played at the back of the hall. We left at the interval but people were leaving earlier. We did say to the organisers that could not hear anything along with others and did also explain we were leaving at the interval as did others to no response.

I would recommend you refund people as a jesters of good will. I know it was reasonably priced but still expect a good standard.

Generally ok, kids got involved in the second half of the panto which was nice. However, considering this event was suitable for very small children, the performance was way too long and my 4yr old completely lost interest half way through. Kids were also expecting to see the Giant which never appeared and some jokes were probably not understood by the children. Overall ok, would only recommend to people with kids 5-6 yr old and up.

Disappointing - sound was terrible meaning kids could not hear when they were meant to join in. Very static show - no getting amongst the crowd or even scenery changes. The beanstalk was 2 leaves ! We stayed to the end but would certainly not rush back. Songs were ok but the kids did not know them - a shame really.

Sound quality was poor. Was hard to hear what the actors were saying but as it's held in a sports hall you cant really help the sound quality be any better. Actors were very enthusiastic though but sadly I got bored of the show and left at the interval along with many others. I'm sure a lot of hard work went into it but perhaps a sports hall isn't the best venue to hold it in, due to the sound quality always being an issue. It wont matter what speakers or microphones you have, it wont make any difference to the quality or clarity of hearing the actors. It needs to be held in a different venue as the sport hall is too echoey.

Terrible acoustics in the large hall that actually hurt my ears.

Too much talking and not enough audience participation. Found my kids getting bored after interval.

We left before the end at the request of one of my children.

This review may have had a different outcome if we could have heard what was being said.

A good night out. The DJ started off the evening with a multitude of Motown hits to get everyone in the mood and the live band were very good but not all their songs were neither Motown or Soul but enjoyable all the same. I did feel the DJ started off with the best stuff first and should rearrange his track list but this is probably just my opinion based on my musical taste. Overall, did I enjoy it. Yes I did. Would I go again. Yes I would.
