Review of Restricted Rocks 2022
Not as good as previous years . The beer tokens were extortionate £5 for a drink should be ashamed of yourselves. I noticed there wasn’t as many people or stalls this year I’m assuming it’s because of the increase in prices for tickets and rent on stalls?
The atmosphere was good never saw any trouble at all everyone there seemed to be enjoying themselves.
The bands were good great choice of bands actually well done on this!
The staff were all polite and hats off to the litter collectors they were brilliant.
Toilets were filthy at the end of the night no loo roll and no hand sanitizer a fail from last years!

Very well put together, great tribute bands. Bit too pricey for the cans of lager that were on offer. £5 per drink! Thats £20 for a 4 pack that would normally be less than a fiver!

Review of Restricted Rocks 2022
The decision to make each day a themed music day really didn't work.
I've been to the previous two events, this was the poorest music wise. I attended the indie day as I liked Oasis, but none of the others on the Saturday or Sunday.
Please can we go back to the previous formats, where there was a mixture of classic acts such as David Bowie, Queen, Prince.

Vegan food option non exisitant. If you're diabetic zero choice of sugar free mixers, not even soda water! Toilets dirty from opening time day 1, no loo rolls left by evening. Need to up their game in order to compete with other tribute festivals.

Brilliant event on the Sunday when we went despite the weather which I think kept a few away.
Still need more food options though. Pizza was good to see but more street food would be good.
Bar prices are high but I get that when it’s so cheap to go in

Went on the Saturday for the Manchester bands, was absolutely superb, what a fantastic day. Cost of entry is great value for money. Can get a little expensive inside if you have kids wanting to go on rides at £4/£3 a time constantly but worth it for a good day out for all. Festival face painting only £5 which is great value.

Review of Restricted Rocks 2022
My family and I travelled from North Wales for the Restricted Rocks Tribute Festival. Great time we shared in the open with lots of like minded people. I would of liked a few more fair ground rides and better prices for drinks like tea, coffee and water. I'm happy to pay for fizzy and alcohol but I was driving and £2 for 500ml of bottled water (no access to free water, so you could refill) is in my opinion is a good money maker. Lots of WC's available though it was difficult to keep them stocked with toilet paper. Good choice of food, all staffed by pleasant people, always happy to chat. Great clean up crew, constantly visible and really helpful. Visible First aid angles and security. Crowd support officials were responsive and always on hand. 12 different tribute acts across 2 days. Would recommend this festival .
Sunday May 1st headliners Foo Fighterz .. their set was almost 2 hours long - after 5 other acts each running for around an hour, we felt that it was GREAT value for money. Green Haze and The Nirvana Tribute sets have left amazing impressions on my children.. moshing at 1:30 on a Sunday!! Saturday it rained so we didn't stay for the full set by the Clone Roses however when we arrived on the Sunday you wouldn't know that their had been such a crowd in the field the night before. A big well done to the event organisers and the support crews!! Great choice of acts.. bring on 2023!!

Beer prices were raised this year, last year they were £4 per drink this year they were £5 maybe meet in the middle next year so people buy more.
Also April which is known for showers probably not the best year to have it.
Other than that the music was awesome and the atmosphere brilliant, this is my second year going and I will be going next year, the camping idea sounds brilliant but I do wonder how the layout will go and if the bigger tentsaybe an issue (my tens an 8 man tent for example)

We went on the rock Sunday but it was better last year when the acts were a mixture of indy and rock on one day. A couple of the rock acts were not as good as last year but still a great afternoon and evening despite the weather
