Katie O'Malley and her band were amazing, really tight set amazing guitars and the drummer kept a rocksteady beat. Katie's vocals and songwriting are top drawer see them while you can before they get signed. Next gig 4th November The Rose and Monkey Hotel Manchester, 8pm tickets on Katie's bio, excellent venue, great food in clubhouse very good quality decent prices as well, hope you do it again soon Smig5757

A local music event that has just had its second event. Word of mouth about the music and the venue are the best adverts for it. Tickets were available online but also for "walk-ups" - that needs pushing.

I was only there early on til about five and not enough there to generate atmosphere . My son lives in Helmshore but was unaware of event so perhaps more marketing needed. Musicians I heard were ok and I would probably give it another go ..beers service good / sound quality good ..perhaps a slightly elevated stage would have been good

Great location, music was really good. Shame the weather wasn’t brilliant, we left early so didn’t get to see the full evening.

The day was brilliant besides the on and off rain the music line up was first class and they were all very good add in a few drinks and a pizza easy to access , as well as the loos , good view of the bands , all in all brilliant day , the best thing for me was the live music the ones that were on , were very very good , the day just flew by so quickly , that’s a good sign means I was enjoying the live bands that much I didn’t want it to end , and as a general rule if I’m not ‘ feelin it ‘ when watching live bands I just leave quickly but this line up was brilliant and seemed to end to quickly besides being there 8 hours , now that’s a good sign , I can’t wait for the next one
