Review of Monthly Family Days on Belfast Barge
Great event that my young toddler enjoyed! But as others have said, the music at the baby rave seemed too loud so would suggest a lower volume next time. I'd also recommend an earlier time range (such as 10am-1pm) as the previous time range (12-3pm) runs right into typical lunch and nap times for little ones. Otherwise fab and will attend again.

Music far too loud, and the woman shouting into the microphone was even worse and had the majority of the children crying. Messy play wasn’t reset after the first group left so most of the sand and water was all over the floor which unfortunately led to my child slipping and cutting her nose and hand on the wooden floor as there were no protective mats down. It’s a shame as it’s a lovely venue but more planning needs to be in place.

I didn't think the event was very family friendly. The baby rave - the music and lady on the mic although lovely was so so loud especially for babies. I also couldn't find any baby changing facilities

this venue has so much potential for a family fun day but unfortunately isn't doing enough to bring it up to the mark. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Baby rave too loud for the age range and lighting needs adjusted the ages it's targeting. Messy play is limited. Appreciate it is on a shoe string but people would pay more if just slight improvements made

My 21month old LOVED it. Sarah had a lot of energy and was great at getting kids involved. Nathan was great on the music - smooth transitions. Holly was full of beans and her being so comfortable there pulled the other kids into the fun. The only suggestion I would make is perhaps a wireless microphone as it was a bit of a trip hazard and was a bit difficult ha ing to pull kids away from it all the time when they were happy running about. (Sorry if I got any of the names wrong!)

Not very well organised. There was only 1 princess and 1 super hero (Thor) there were s few old sand toys and water toys but not great. Very cramped. More adults than children who were all on the dance floor which meant small kids could get moving to the front. Music was too loud for children there were kids covering their ears. Poor experience all round. I am glad the price of the tickets werenât anything more.
