Review of The Legends Festival - War Memorial Park, Basingstoke
It was well organised and a great atmosphere. It was good to see so many families enjoying the day. The Memorial Park was a very good central location and it was easy to walk into town for a break. There was plenty of shade on a hot and sunny Sunday. All the tribute bands were superb. The majority of the audience had brought their own chairs which added to the relaxed friendly atmosphere. The staff were courteous and efficient. Although the bar prices were high, it was nice that bottles of water were free. We would definitely come again.

We had a great time! We made an effort to add some sparkle with accessories etc, and danced the day/ night away! Pity others didn’t do the same to add to the atmosphere of fun.!
The music was brilliant also the friendly staff!

Great day and evening
Only thing to add was now the evenings are getting darker earlier, it may have been more helpful for more lighting around the place.

Really well organised event with some great bands. Just what everyone needed after lockdown. It was a shame that it wasn't busier - understand it was only promoted on FB. Could benefit from wider marketing next year. Suggest opening the event with upbeat acts to get the party going and perhaps a name MC to draw people in as well. Otherwise great and would definitely go again.

Review of The Legends Festival - War Memorial Park, Basingstoke
On the down side alcohol and food was ridiculously expensive. Although you could bring your own food, you couldn't bring alcohol or any drinks apart from water. Oh, and there was no smoking in the arena apart from designated areas (but, as long as you stood away from the crowd the security were ok). The sound system was brilliant, as were the acts. We saw tributes to Cold Play (fantastic), Ed Sheeran (ok), Madness (absolutely fantastic), Take That and Robbie (really good show) and Queen (ok, but "Freddie" didn't really sound like him).

I really enjoyed it. But I am 64 and my friend 67 he has some disability and the car park was far away for us both to walk. My friend also forgot which car park he parked the car in and had a panic attack because it was quite late.

Very good festival, well spaced out in the field, not enough variety of food vendors but understandable in current situation. Very selfish people putting chairs down at the front should leave an area for kids/teenagers to dance
